Artisans has been a fabulous authentic French restaurant for many years! Their new location is beautiful and features an open kitchen concept. Their new French onion soup is spot on to what you would expect and not over salty or too thick because the onions are properly rendered down. The meat was all cooked perfect and well seasoned. The sides don’t disappoint either. The dessert menu is small but well executed and beautiful!
Service is top notch and prices are good. Vast wine menu too! They also have lots of tasting menu events which are fun too!

Last night, I had a gathering with my sisters at this restaurant. I opted for the seven-course set meal, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The foie gras appetizer completely shattered my positive impression of foie gras—it was simply not enjoyable. The lamb main course was overwhelmingly salty, and this seemed to be a recurring issue across almost all the dishes. I ended up drinking four or five glasses of water, but it did little to counteract the saltiness. Overall, it was a disappointing and unfriendly introduction to French cuisine.

A fabulous French meal without the usual pretentiousness that can come with the food! The food was fabulous and full of buttery goodness! Very nice cocktail list, but we chose our usual bourbon on ice! A nice bottle of wine went with our amazing dinner. Post dinner our sommelier gave us a tour of the whole restaurant! It was so magnificent! All our choices of food were tasty and freshly prepared. The menu is very diverse and full of choices. The dessert menu is fabulous but we were too full to take advantage of it, however the double espresso was the perfect end to an amazing meal!

Nestled in the heart of the Galleria area, this charming French restaurant is a haven for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and warmth. The interior is nothing short of stunning—modern lights from the ceiling casting a soft glow over tastefully arranged tables. The décor perfectly balances classic sophistication with contemporary touches, creating an inviting yet refined ambiance.
Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with great flavors consistent across the menu. Every bite feels like a culinary celebration. Moreover, the pricing is refreshingly reasonable, especially considering the exceptional quality and generous portions. Highly recommend their six or seven courses, literally, that is six or seven plates, not like many other fine dining places, has a tiny portion on a huge plate.
The service here is good, too, and the attentive and knowledgeable staff enhance the dining experience with their genuine hospitality. We have brought our 6-year-old and 2-year-old to the place several times: we sat by the open kitchen so they could watch chefs doing their work; we celebrated one of the kids’ birthday there, and last Sunday, they also let us sit at a large table in the lounge area, so we could enjoy some good meal and cocktail while kids can talk on the sofa next to us.
I highly recommend it for dating, business, or even family get-togethers.

Great service, great food. This is the first time we have ever done a fancy dinner or a tasting menu. She decided on the 6 course and I decided on the 7 course. From the pesto risotto, to the Basil honey, the flavors were intense and great. Don’t let the small size fool you. We were stuffed at the end! Salmon, sea bass, duck liver, beef tenderloin and lamb shank. Fantastic

Absolutely wonderful. We went for our Anniversary and were treated to an amazing evening. We sat at the bar around the kitchen and watched as the staff created our tasty dishes. Everyone was very nice and stopped by to congratulate us. The Chef was very friendly and even surprised us with a few off the menu creations. The owner and chef went out of their way to make our evening very special. We have found our new special occasion place!!

The good first: aesthetic, service, and presentation, the complimentary bread, the scallop appetizer, the fact that they helped us with our celebration, and that my partner thoroughly enjoyed his roasted chicken. The bad: my drink came much later than my partner’s, made us ask again. The foi gras was not the best we have had as it left a gamey aftertaste. Lobster bisque is nothing to write home about. The entrees are where main gripes with: the pistachio crusted sea bass was at the same time too heavy and too bland: the crust didn’t lend much to the whole dish, as it’s not crunchy/nor it compliments the flavor of sea bass. The fish was heavenly tender and fresh. But lacks seasoning. The sauce was on the bland side. The pesto rissoto was of the right texture but pesto make it too heavy. Overall, it left much to be desired. I was a looking forward to some live music but not this Friday. The valet is mandatory but it’s only $8

This is definitely a date night restaurant.
The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are attentive. Our waitress was sweet and knowledgable about their French menu. Thankfully, there are English descriptions of their offerings. They were also able to accommodate gluten sensitivities.
The food is pricey, and the valet parking is mandatory (10 dollar fee). However, you are in for a treat when the plates start arriving. My lady had the chicken and risotto dish in the picture, and I had the perfectly-cooked steak with potatoes.
While it might not be feasible to come everyday, it is certainly a great choice for a special occasion. Before your imagination starts to wander – the rooster box is how they bring you the check.
