My sister suggested we stop in because they have gluten free bread and are very good about allergies. My older sister also makes the regular bread they use so all of us were happy with the choice. I got the turkey with bacon sandwich and there’s just something you can’t beat about fresh veggies on a sandwich. My sister got the tuna sandwich which she had been eager to try for some time. While some of the tuna did escape the bread, it was still excellent! My other sister got the cranberry gobbler. She also mentioned that it had apple prices in it. We are outside at one of their tables. Had an excellent time.

AWESOME small biz sandwich shop in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo. I had the turkey avocado BLT sandwich, toasted. The bread was amazing and the ingredients on the sandwich itself were super fresh, generous, but I didn’t feel crazy full when done.
You can tell owner Ryan is very passionate about his business. That shined through in the quality of the product and the welcoming environment in the shop.
This is a must try when in downtown Kalamazoo!

Yum!!! There was a long lunch line and I was told it’s worth the wait. Definitely was! Love supporting small businesses. This guy was slammed with customers and was knocking the sandwiches out super fast! Great atmosphere with games available on tables while you wait. Definitely recommend and will return when I’m in town!

Ordered a turkey bacon avacado. No bacon, an single piece of unripe piece of a roma tomato, HALF a sandwich. Bread was old (dry and crumbly). Some smeared avacado. Look at the pics. The one is what they promise the other is what the delivered. Will never go back. If that’s an Artisan sammich, I’d hate to see an amateur one.
And they left out the cookie and the bottle water was room temp. And it wasn’t only mine I was part of a bigger order and everyone said the same.
Shut down and start over. We should not have to hold your hand to get you to make a simple sandwich, I have no desire to help you fix your business.

It’s all about the bread! Fantastic sandwich shop with a small, delicious menu. I did the Turkey Avacado BLT on rosemary parmesan bread and it was one of the better sandwiches I’ve had. Simple, fresh and full of taste.
Bonus: fun table games for the kids – connect four, tic tac toe, etc

My friend and I always walked past this shop on our walks and knew we wanted to try another local restaurant.
We have since eaten here twice and were both very satisfied with both the service and quality of our sandwiches. For the price, you get a very hardy sandwich that tastes amazing.
Both times I have bought the Cranberry Gobbler due to its limited run at Artisan Sandwich Co.; however, I will be back to try other sandwiches on their menu.

Great sandwich shop. Neat and clean with a very friendly person making sandwich. Got the Turkey bacon avacado with the rosemary parmesan bread made locally. It was absolutely delicious. Did get it pressed on the panini press. Neat atmosphere with games to play while you wait. Would definitely come back again.

Best sandwiches in Kzoo, hands down. If you’re looking for an incredibly well made (and big!) grilled sandwich, check this place out. The rosemary bread is amazing, soups are tasty and overall it’s a delicious place to eat a reasonably priced lunch downtown. (Try the gobbler when it comes out around thanksgiving.) If not in smash mode, I can easily get two meals from one sandwich.
It is my hope and dream that they will one day open a second location in Oakland plaza – we desperately need a decent lunch spot over there. Until then, I’ll proselytize because this is a tasty sandwich shoppe who deserves the business! Bonus – the owner is super nice. Just a great local place, well worth it.
