Exceptional bakery with outstanding integrity and service

I recently visited Artisan Boulanger with my girlfriends for coffee and dessert. I suggested this place because I genuinely love their bread and pastries—they are unique, beautifully made, and consistently delicious. I often stop by after dinner just to enjoy their baked goods.

During this visit, I was so busy chatting with my friends that I accidentally left my crossbody bag behind. It contained my wallet, driver’s license, and credit cards, so when I realized it at home, I was extremely worried—especially since it was a brand-name bag and wallet. I honestly felt like I was having a heart attack.

The next day, I called the bakery, and they told me they had safely kept my bag for me. The staff explained that the person who cleaned late at night found it and made sure it was secured for the customer. I was incredibly grateful and relieved.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t thank that person in person, so I decided to purchase more pastries as a small way to show my appreciation. This experience truly reminded me that there are still honest and kind people out there.

Thank you, Artisan Boulanger, for your delicious pastries and for your honesty and professionalism. I will definitely continue to support this wonderful bakery.

I’ve been here with my friend soo many times! Finally remembered to leave a review. There are a bunch of cakes and baked goods to pick from. I’ve always liked everything I got, I try to get something different each time haha. And usually they have different things whenever I come. The ice cream is pretty solid as well. There is a lot of space inside, with wifi and it’s clean. The employees are also very nice.

Artisan Boulanger is a hidden gem in Fort Lee! The pastries are always fresh, flaky, and full of flavor—everything tastes like it was made with real care. Their croissants are some of the best I’ve had in New Jersey: buttery, light, and perfectly crisp. I also love their baguettes and seasonal pastries, which never disappoint.

The shop itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff is kind and attentive. You can tell they take pride in what they do. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again, whether for a morning coffee and pastry or to grab bread for home.

This place is a logistical nightmare right now they’re only 11 customers wanted to check out ahead of me. There is one young lady behind the register bringing up any customers, and there are two guys supposedly organizing the bread. I have no idea why these guys are not checking out customers. There’s literally not a single person checking out any of these customers that are waiting. Who the hell designed your operations of this place? No wonder the reviews are absolutely terrible.

***Buyers BEWARE: the bread you buy may be contaminated with MOLD. ***

I live far outside Palisades Park and decided to stop by for some pastries and bread at this location on my trip to the area. However when I got home that same day after a 3-hour drive, I noticed the bread had black and white mold underneath the plastic cover. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to travel back there anytime soon so I waited for a few days until I was certain about my foreseeable schedule before contacting them. The person I spoke to asked me a bunch of questions and told me to wait until she addressed her questions with the manager. Then a couple of mins later a stranger picked up the line without any knowledge about my inquiry and I ended up giving her a whole explanation all over again. Then she said she would have her manager reach out to me and I got a text message from the manager fairly quickly. I sent the manager pictures of the bread with mold along with the receipt. I asked for a refund for the bread because I wasn’t able to consume any part of it but s/he refused saying that “this has never happened” which implied that I was lying. I texted back clarifying my points and called but s/he didn’t pick up so I left a voicemail but have not heard back ever since. Not only am I never returning to the store but I also want future customers to know that this ***could*** happen to them too. The store should know that selling spoiled products may easily be a civil or
criminal offense.

Hands down the best bakery in the town, and perhaps in the state. There’s absolutely no doubt this gem will become a destination for tourists and a go to bakery for the locals.

Selections of unique baked goods are second to none. I have not witnessed a bakery of this caliber since I visited Korea. Quality is second to none. The interior design of this place is excellent as well. This will be the place for an intimate meeting for me. The vibe of multiple dozens of party chefs constantly banging out pastries and the aroma of baked goods coupled with excellent interior concept is second to none.

But wait a minute. There are other bakeries nearby who offers similar product at 15-20% cheaper. While this place is impressive, I will continue to patron other local bakeries until I have more disposable incomes.

Slightly turned off by the pricing, but I still recommend and encourage a visit to this masterpiece m.

I just found out this place. It’s a beautiful Korean patisserie with delicious and fresh pastry. I got myself a ham sandwich and the lettuce is so fresh it feels like it’s just came out from the farm. Definitely a five star bakery in my mind. I also like the open kitchen concept. Will come again with friends!!!

When I buy cake from other bakeries, I either feel sick or it’s too sweet, so I throw it away.
But this chocolate cake was just the right amount of sweet, and the cream was thick and delicious.
Thank you for providing such a delicious cake at such a reasonable price.

I liked their bread tastes not too heavy, but one huge minus for me was that Fig Bread does NOT have enough figs in it. It’s more like “cranberry & raisin bread – with fig.”
The place was very spacious and seemed pretty cozy, so that was good. However, staff members seemed they need to be more aware of the nutritional info of their bread, in case customers ask.
