Use to like this place. I’ve had my art hanging in this place for a number of years. Until the new owners took over that is. Before the transition I went in there to pick up a check for a piece that sold and left two pieces hanging on the wall. A couple months later I went back after I received an email another artist, about the new owners not paying him for selling some of his art, and my art was not hanging. After asking about it the manager was only able to produce one of my pieces and had no idea about any others. Horrible business practices that pretty much align with everything else I’ve been hearing about the new owners and the running of the place.

Great Breakfast. Excited to go back and try more things on the menu. Service was a bit slow, not the fault of the server, she was fantastic.

I use to LOVE this place, but after it went under new ownership I’ve had a bad experience every single time. I tried giving it a few more chances hoping the other bad times were just flukes, but the poor experience was consistent. We no longer go now. The food is terrible now. Ingredients and specific instructions were forgotten every time without fail but I don’t think it’s because of the waiters/ waitresses (they were always nice and attentive). It feels like the errors were coming from the kitchen. The time it took for the food to get to our table was literally at the least an hour, and they stopped serving their gluten free options.

Won’t be returning until they get their act together! I want the old owners back! Seriously use to be my favorite place.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! My husband and I were impressed with the service and food. The homemade ranch dressing and croutons were delicious. He loved the steak salad, and I was a huge fan of the bruschetta chicken. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Love this little bistro. The food is fresh and tasty – bring back the cheese plate! Breakfast is always tasty, the stuffed french toast doesn’t disappoint and the two potato hash is plenty + leftovers.

The last couple of trips the service was extra slow, allow some time to sit and enjoy ~ it looked as though they were going through some staff turnover/training and kitchen may have been understaffed.

I hope they get it all together again, we love this place several times a month.

I used to love the place and often recommended it to other people. Which only made my disappointment with the changes that much worse. They no longer serve gluten free bread options. We ordered three different meals and they were adequate. They used to be delicious. The French fries tasted exactly like fries from McDonald’s and cost an extra $2. If they’d been free, I’d at least not feel cheated. And at least McDonald’s fries are warm…

Has a handmade, artsy vibe. We had the java burger, chicken sandwich, and salmon sandwich. The burger was great, and the chicken decent–not too dry or tough. Our waitress asked what we wanted for a side, and it turns out the fries and the salad both cost extra, but this wasn’t mentioned and we only found out when we saw the receipt. Probably wouldn’t go again for dinner, but would try again as a coffee shop.

An excellent and unique mom and pop coffee shop/diner. The store has a Californian flavor to it with their liberal use of avocado and a side of in-house chips and salsa instead of fires. I love their Cajun chicken sandwich, but nothing I’ve tried has been bad. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area.

The food is actually quite good but they redid the dressing inside to fit more people but it’s really uncomfortable seating now. The wait staff also leaves a lot to be desired. Last time I went, the waitress even walked up with did in her mouth at one point and couldn’t answer most questions asked about the food.

Get the food to go and this would be a 4 star.

I liked Artisan in the past, but tonight was a disaster for this unique(for the area) bistro. We made a reservation, and they sat us in the cafe. Everyone after us was seated in the restaurant which has better tables, service, and lighting. Service was slow. I asked if they had any IPA’s and was told no. They did after I investigated. Silverware was assembled the next table over, and not on our table until I asked when the food came. Burger was dry, but flavorful. Probably won’t be back.
