We came here this week and and stayed in St. Roch for our wedding. Read good reviews and a short walk. Problem was not once but twice we tried to go there based on Google hours. Both times place was closed with posted sign saying will be back at noon. Please update your hours! Ridiculous!

This place has excellent food but their kitchen always opens way later than they intend to. All you can get in the early hours is drinks. I’ve come here for their great food multiple times and been told the cook is late again, come back later. The bartenders are excellently lovely though, I love this spot overall, they just need to get their kitchen situation straightened out.

Folks will laugh at the comparison but reminded me of a place I found in Queens! Though, they can’t beat the Southern Hospitality you find here. Great drinks, nice staff, good food right in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience I had at your establishment. On my first visit (Thursday, July 25th), I was served by an older gentleman who went out of his way to make me a delightful Mai Tai, which was not on the menu. This exceptional service prompted me to return.
Unfortunately, my second visit (Thursday, August 1st) did not meet the same standard. The bartender on duty was dismissive when I requested a Mai Tai, and the drink I received was unsatisfactory. Moreover, her remark, “I kind of wish you were someone else too,” in response to my feedback was unprofessional and rude. It soured the entire experience for me and my friend.
While the food, particularly the steaks, was excellent, the service left much to be desired. I would like to continue supporting my local neighborhood spot, but I am hesitant to return if the same bartender is present. I hope you will address this issue so that all customers can enjoy both great food and service at your cafe.

I’ve eaten here two times now and it was amazing both times. They have an amazing cheese burger that’s just as good or better than Port of Call for a slightly lower price without the long wait. Although the steak tacos are not “authentic,” they are some of the best I’ve ever had. My friend had the chicken tacos and absolutely loved them. This is a place I will definitely eat at many times to come.

On Monday red beans and rice did not have. Waited 45 minutes for a BLT. Wife’s egg rolls were so salty she could not eat them. It use to be a go to place, but no more. Server on front register did not work. No comps of any type, service is going down hill, steaks have a large amount of grissle on steak night.
