I ordered the wild salmon, grilled with lemon. Very good! You get an option between getting the whole fish or a filet, which would be bone free. Nice place to go to celebrate a birthday with friends or a larger family. However, I would not recommend it if you are looking for a quieter place to eat out with your spouse, for example. It was quite loud when I went, I didn’t mind but I know some people do. There also seems to be a lot of new waiters and waitresses in training as a summer job. Keep that in mind if you want to have a more sophisticated place where people are older and more experienced.

I give this rating because when I visited with two other people for us, the experience was just average.

We went here because so many of our friends told it was so good. Unfortunately that was not our experience. The octopus salad was flavorless and the octopus was tough. My husband order a shrimp dish and when he said he wanted it stuffed the waiter told him only 3 shrimp would be in his dish. He figured it would be 3 large shrimp stuffed . Instead the shrimp was a peel and eat shrimp with the skin still on covered with a clump of breadcrumbs and some crabmeat. The Gorgonzola mussels were excellent, which is the only reason I didn’t give one star . I ordered red snapper oreganata , baked potato and Brussels sprouts. The waiter brought out salmon. When I told him I ordered snapper he was rude but everyone at the table told him I ordered snapper. My meal came out after everyone had long finished their dinners , in an aluminum tin , in a bag! Not even on a plate! And they gave me roasted potato instead of the baked I asked for! I was so hungry by then and didn’t want to wait any longer so I ate what they gave me- out of the stupid take home tin. The waiter never came over to asked if we wanted more drinks or if we needed anything. For the money spent, one of the worst dining experiences. The charge for my dinner was removed , but it just didn’t seem enough for the aggravation.

I went here for my Birthday because Tim Dillion recommended it and I’m so happy I did. Amazing fresh seafood and great service. Their seafood market is well priced and the staff is amazing. Thank you for exceeding my expectations.

Wandered in one early afternoon for lunch. Welcome to Seafood how it was fifty years ago in New York City. Immaculate it looked so clean you could eat off the floor. The fresh fish for sale literally looked alive. I had a plain broiled piece of wild salmon that was delicious. Wish I lived around the corner I would eat there six days a week(closed mondays)

It cost me and my Pop 95 bucks and we split Arties fried seafood combo. 4 shrimp 2 small pieces of flouder and 5 sea scallops and a pile of fries. 1 small cole slaw. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail. 7 dollars a can of corona 3.50 for a ginger ale. Yankee stadium charges less for drinks. No wonder the place was empty.

I’m so glad a friend of mine recommended this hidden gem. It’s a fish market/restaurant. They only except cash and BYOB but it adds to the local owned feel. Everything’s always fresh. The Gorgonzola Mussles are a must! Seriously, it’s a must. You will want to lick the plate. After your meal, you can check out there market of fresh fish at great prices. If your around the neighborhood hood, you won’t regret it. Head to the beach first then go here for a nice lunch before heading home.
