Had dinner here with my family while staying in the hotel. The kids loved their food – butter pasta and chicken tenders which comes with a choice of fries or fresh fruits. The pork chop was nicely cooked and perfectly paired with the a stone fruit sauce. The garlic confit potatoes was the highlight of the meal. Our server Wilson was gracious and so kind to my kids. The Younger kid enjoyed coloring with crayons and the older kid loved the DC-themed word – search. It’s a super kid friendly environment offering great food and drinks for adults!

This was a neat bar. Glad we enjoyed a snack and a couple of drinks here.

The Brown Maple Old-Fashioned is perfectly aligned to be dubbed the American “Baseball Old-Fashioned.” It honestly tastes just like Crackerjacks.

The Rum & Regulation can be oversimplified as a rum old-fashioned. There are some slight differences and it was good.

We ordered Crab Frites to snack on with our drinks. These were good and hot. We’re typically use to Steak Frites so this was a good twist.
The service was good. Multiple bartenders came to our service during our trip. They were all friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere had an upscale vibe and feel. We enjoyed it.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Article One Restaurant! The service was fast and efficient, and the seating was comfortable, making for a great atmosphere. The tomato coconut soup was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and well-balanced. I highly recommend giving it a try! I do hope they consider adding a grilled cheese to the menu because this soup would pair perfectly with one, though it’s still excellent on its own.

The Turkey BLT was another standout—fresh, hearty, and filling. Overall, a great meal with quality ingredients. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice quiet bar lounge to have a drink and a meal. Got the wings and truffle fries. They came out great! Wings are always a risk to order but I was happy with them – large well cooked and the buffalo sauce was tasty and medium hot. Would happily return.

Excellent food, large portions, great service, and small, but varied selection of draft beers (they have more in bottles, but I don’t look at that menu).

I sat down quite late, and even with Teamsters conference in the building, there were a few spots available at the bar and in the general lobby area.
I never saw the place fill up and you could sit down at any point.

The bean soup was big and delicious and the chicken leg was huge, crispy and nicely complimented by the roasted vegetables and black beans.

Service was offered with smile and speed (there were three bartenders there!), so everything came out quickly.

I know that when we have another event in town, I’ll be staying here.

While in DC for a convention, I stayed at the Hyatt. Article One bar/Lounge is inside the hotel! It was a meeting place for all of us at the convention to relax after the daily meetings.

The staff, especially Wilson D. was very accomodating and considerate of each of our needs/specific wants. The bar itself isn’t very big and the number of people in my group alone was more than the bar could accomodate. We had to move chairs/tables around to have all of us join together in close proximity to one another. The staff didn’t seem to mind that we did that.

I’m sure the bills were quite confusing, as well. Each of us was buying drinks for others, some being charged to the rooms, others paying as they go. Some of us wandered off with the bar glasses & other dishes, as well. But, the staff seemed to go with the flow and maintain smiles the entire time we were there.

Having a place to decompress after such heavy meetings was a life saver for many of us. It was nice to not have to leave the grounds, grab a drink with dinner and head right up to our respective rooms!

Any time I’m in DC, I will be ensuring that I stay at this hotel, regardless of where I need to go while there! Absolute perfect first impression!

Great staff. Exceptional food. One of the best cuts of prime rib I’ve ever had and cooked to perfection. Reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend this restaurant. Breakfast was also outstanding.

Breakfast options are great, lots of choice. Scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs whites, French toast, and breakfast specials. Bread could be more variety. Enough sweet pastry options. Fresh fruits as well as smoked salmon, different cheeses and deli meat.

Dinner is also very good. We love Maya, she’s amazing and caters to every request.

It was a pleasant surprise to find broccolini on the menu and it tasted delicious. The other dishes were also excellent. Although their limited edition cherry blossom cocktails tasted quite bland I told them, and they promptly replaced it with another.
The old fashioned was served with an orange wedge instead of its peel and came with small ice cubes.
Anyway after a long day, rewarding yourself with a meal at a restaurant, never wrong!

Breakfast buffet is excellent – lots of variety, moderate price (don’t miss that $25 off $50 dining coupon they offer with hotel reservation!), comfortable location right in the main lobby of the hotel.

Pre-cooked scrambled eggs/bacon are hit or miss – were great one morning, but barely warm on another. Still, there is an omelet station – get it cooked to your specs right in front of you.

Coffee is consistently good. Plenty of cold cuts, pastries and fresh fruit.
Haven’t tried sausages or pancakes – but they looked/smelled good.

Bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, cereals – all typical breakfast staples. You won’t leave hungry.
