Honestly no restaurant is perfect
But so far I’ve had a great experience been ordering for over 8 months now, they always nice, I appreciate their customer service skills again it’s not perfect, but their dishes are always tasty .

I ordered legume with white rice and griot with brown rice and peas. As soon as I got home, I realized there was no white rice, only one small brown rice and two griots and no legume at all. For what they charge, this is unacceptable. The prices are too high for the quality of food they serve.

To make it worse, while I was there, my 3-year-old yelled out “roach,” and sure enough, I saw a baby roach crawling on the floor. That was the last straw. The customer service was rude and careless on top of everything else.

I will never order from this place again. Completely disappointed.

You tell them when they do something wrong and the next time you come, they make you pay for it by giving you less food. Very unprofessional establishment. Every month they’re increasing prices and giving you less food. Won’t be coming back anymore. Every time I come, I’m spending on fish, which is expensive, at least get my food right. I could’ve sued them for giving me uncooked fish, but I was nice about it, and still the disrespect.

I try to patronize my culture my people and my food of Haiti, but I recently went to the restaurant and was highly disappointed in the quality of the food the chicken and sauce was even dry how does that happen other issues we asked for extra pikleez hot pepper and got a small thimble amount, what a joke. The Onion sauce tasted like it was out of a can I know how to make this onion sauce, and this sauce had a taste as though it was mixed with a chicken or turkey over the counter gravy. In all fairness I haven’t been in this restaurant in about maybe four or five years and the quality has gone down. As far as service they’re very professional very nice I have no complaints. In retrospect I should have passed on going there because the food stayed in my stomach for so long I couldn’t eat for 24 hours it was like a brick in my stomach. I had bad indigestion for over 19 hours, and that doesn’t normally happen with typical Haitian food so I don’t know what they’re doing but they need to look at how they’re preparing the meals are they putting too much salt are they doing other things wrong I again would like to patronize my people but sometimes like every other restaurant they need to go through some changes so they can get that quality that we all pay for also the price was super astronomical I paid $23 for each plate and when I opened the plate it was a joke it was more rice than anything. I hope they can make some positive changes and I get it that price is of everything go up but who wants to go and pick up a $23 plate of food that you can make for $4 at home. Come on now stop gouging your customers and repeat customers keep a restaurant alive. I unfortunately am not going backz they lost me for good. Yuuuuuuuuck

I don’t know why I didn’t learn the 1st or 2nd time. Today was the 3rd time I got home with the wrong food. CHECK YOUR FOOD before you leave. The young man that worked today, customer service skills was just so horrible. The food is ok, NOT great. I only gave it 2 stars because years ago they were good. There is ALWAYS something burnt last time it was the beans, today it’s the rice. The portions are surprisingly small. One plate of Haitian food is normally enough, with left overs, for my son and I……. today, I’m only eating meat and gave my 5 years old 75% of the food!! The best part, I ordered white rice and beans and they gave me rice and beans and bean sauce!! C’mon! Oh, and grio with no picklies!

Charging way too much for a fried turkey complete. $24 is over priced for rice and turkey.

Not sure how orders are filled here, but doesn’t seem to be in order of arrival. Customer service should not be dependent on favoritism. Some of the chicken was not fully cooked.

Travelling in from Orlando, we were starving and thanks to the reviews ended up here. Small, cozy restaurant, nothing fancy about it but boy was i surprised by the taste….. OMG, the food was phenomenal, i had the oxtail which was flavorful, hubby had fried goat and that was to die for, almost switched plated with him…. son had fried pork which he said was good. Only downfall was there a little bit of a wait but the lady incharge was way too friendly and very apologetic about the wait.

All in all, Very good customer service, very good food. Generous portions, reasonably priced.

The food was Aaamazing! Recieved it in only 10 minutes! I ordered the Griot complete. The fried pork was juicy & perfect. Not hard or dry. The rice was nice & moist. Big portions for just $12. Would definitely recommend to anyone & will go back again. ❤
