I have not been here in a very long time. No wait when we went and it looked very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our order was cooked at that moment and it did not take long. Others came after and they were getting orders out quickly. The food was as good as I remember. I will definitely be back

Quiet and cozy. Not expensive at all. Alaskan cod and chicken tenders freshly battered. The chips better known as French Fries were a crispy treat while hot. You definitely get your monies worth. The combos are on point. The service was fast. Kim, the cashier was very helpful in helping us with our choices. She knew the menu well. The dinning area and bathrooms were very clean. There is plenty of seating for dinning in.

Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips is a straightforward place. What it is and what it’s about is pretty much in the name. They offer fried fish, Pollock to be specific, as well as chicken and shrimp offerings. They also offer their version of a corn dog for a change of pace. The fries, the titular ‘chips’ are essentially steak fries. Unfancy or pretentious, it’s a throwback to the 70’s. I ordered the 4 piece fish combo with fries and drink for $13.99. The drink was only 8 ounces with no refills. But the combo was substantial and filling. The fish was flaky and the breading was crispy. Malt vinegar was plentiful and supplied on the table in a bottle. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience. It’s sad so few Arthur Treacher’s are left. The one we visited is one of only four left in the U.S.–and all are in Ohio. I found the food worth the drive.

Not much to write home about here. Worth the single try to say you did it, not sure how much longer these will be around. The food was ok, heavily battered, not much flavor or seasoning. The front counter woman very nice, smiling accommodating. The kitchen guy was miserable. Shaking his head at people walking in, being argumentative with the front counter person. A few shout outs the tarter (not homemade) is excellent, the Luv Pies are decent, though this reviewer would like a little more sweetness in the shell & lastly this location did not have cheese sticks. These are being run about as cheaply as possible (labor/food/sauces/packaging). I would imagine consistency is a nightmare amongst the 3 that are left. Go for the nostalgia & have a story to tell 5-10 years from now that you remember them!!!

First time back to Arthur treachers in probably 40 years! Still good tasty! Employees were nice and respectful. Plenty of room in the parking lot and not a long wait. The place probably could use a good spring cleaning though.

I was visiting from out of state and had to get some of their food since it had been a long time since I had anything like that. I told the gentleman behind the counter my story about my location growing up (which initially was an AT franchise) and he seemed genuinely interested and appreciative that I came to visit his store. He was friendly, kind and professional and that’s not something I often see in fast food restaurants these days. Kudos to him and the other employee who made my food. Obviously fish and chips is better served hot and fresh but my food looked and tasted wonderful, just as I remembered it way back when. Two thumbs up and give these guys a try; you won’t be disappointed.

It’s been many years since I’ve had the opportunity to stop at an AT! I am very hopeful they continue their local success and can slowly branch back out. The quality of the food is the star here. It’s a LOT better than LJS. However, the batter could and it’s a personal opinion use a little more salt BUT that’s why we’ve got salt shakers! So if you’re a fan of the original it’s the same! If you’re looking for a change and want something fast and different this is for you! Keep up the good work!

Fast friendly service. Hushpuppies were TERRIBLE!! either grease was too hot and batter was too cold or batter was warm and grease was warm either way was a terrible product. Chicken tasted weird and fries were cardboard…just not a good experience

Haven’t been to Arthur Treacher’s in 30 years, found this one when I was over by another business, decided to grab some… pretty much what I remembered but needs seasoning!! Just a little would make a world of difference.
No drive-thru, and the cook in the back was wearing his winter coat from outsider, maybe he should have a separate hoody to wear that would appear clean and not street cloths.

It has been well over a decade since the last time I had the chance to eat at Arthur treacher’s. The shame of that is that this location in Garfield heights was not a long drive from my home. I just never find myself quite on this side of town unless I am visiting Cinemark at valley view. A friend suggested meeting for dinner before a movie at Cinemark this past Thursday evening. Arthur treacher’s had been a childhood staple for him and his family and he suggested we meet there.
Upon arriving into the parking lot and seeing that familiar yellow background with the union jacks flanking the logo, took me right back. Inside. The interior and overall setup was, utilitarian. It has a handful of tables if you choose to dine in but the general setup seems to be geared for take out orders. That extended to how the food is packaged up, everything is placed into take out foam containers for your order.
There were around 4 people waiting for their order when we arrived. After placing our order at the counter (the person who took my order was super friendly and helpful) we were given our order number and we took a seat. Overall it took around 8-10 minutes for our orders to come up. The kitchen was absolutely cooking everything to order so everything was extremely fresh and hot.
I ordered the fish and chicken combo meal. That came with chips, 2 pieces of fish and 2 pieces of chicken, and 2 hush puppies. I also ordered a lemon luv and coleslaw as sides. After letting things cool a little while, dove in. That first bite took me right back to my childhood. We didn’t visit Treacher’s often, as it was usually reserved for when we would visit sears at southland for school shopping, but I always enjoyed my experience back then. Everything was how I remembered it.
This will be a restaurant I will return to when in the area for sure moving forward. Can’t believe I waited so long to return.
