This restaurant is a very special place. It feels like you are invited to a Mexican home and you are eating and sitting with friends and family. Every one we met there including the owner were very nice and open and easy to talk to! The food of course is also very delicious and rich in flavour. He doesn’t have a menu to hand out he tells you what he has this day when you arrive. But be fast some of the food is sold out by 6pm…
We also did a cooking class which comes with a lot of food special coffee and a lot of interesting story’s and history of San Cristobal.
It is definitely worth a visit also if you are not vegan.

Absolutely unforgettable experience, column food, cacao, company. I have been Reminiscing and salivating about the food. We had a day ago all day today.. We will definitely return to eat here again! Probably the most value for money food course in the history of human civilization. We took the salsa course and learned 6 salsas including eating lunch after for almost nothing, so tip generously! Super small and chaotic kitchen with a super friendly and chaotic chef in the most positive way. We had a great time making these superb salsas, talking about culture and politics and random stuff. We also had lunch the day before that was also amazing. Can’t recommend this enough, if you are there to eat or for a food course especially, a must if you are visiting San Cristobal.

It was about 2 weeks ago but we are happy to recall this wonderful evening. The host made us feel like at home. Gerardo prepared some of the vegan dishes right in front of us, engaging us in an interesting conversation. He served the best guacamole we’ve ever had. I can also recommend his coffee. We still have a pleasure to taste it everyday at home ten thousands miles away :))

We found this vegan restaurant by chance and absolutely loved it! They offer a daily menu of traditional mexican food at a very fair price, freshly prepared with lots of love and organic ingredients.
The guacamole was one of the best we had during our stay in Mexico! The owner is very friendly, we had a nice conversation and you can really feel that he does this with heart and soul. It feels like eating in a friend’s kitchen rather than a restaurant.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for delicious vegan food and a genuinely warm atmosphere.
