I don’t like this place. Yesterday, I was craving avocado toast and Arsaga’s was the closet place to me that carried that. I went on their website and looked at the prices and saw that “The Block Party” avocado toast was only $7 which was pricey but not too bad. I also wanted a small latte which I saw online was $4.25. A decent snack and coffee for $12 sounded great! I went to the store to order and the avocado toast rang up $9.75 and it cost $1.50 to add caramel to my 8oz latte. I was so in shock I didn’t look to see the price of the latte before the add in but I know it was more than what I saw online because of what my total came to be. Look at that picture! That coffee was the tiniest thing I’ve ever seen. $1.50 for likely just ONE pump of caramel is crazy. But the craziest thing is charging $9.95 for that toast (full disclosure- it comes with peppers but I asked to remove them). I was walking away with my food and the box of toast felt pretty light so I opened to look at what I just paid for….. almost burst out laughing. How can a company charge $10 for this and not feel bad about themselves? Like, seriously I was appalled. It was smaller than a regular piece of bread from Walmart. My total came out to $17 and some change. How is this even legal hahaha? I’ll admit, the toast and coffee were fine. No complaints about the flavor and taste. But the price is crazy. I went back and saw the online prices I was previously looking at were from January. First off, update your menu prices (especially when you are scamming people). It is a very easy thing to do and you owe it to your customers to be consistent. Second, I know things are expensive and prices are increasing right now around the world, but increasing the price of something by almost 150% in less than 10 months is absolutely insane and greedy. I don’t like saying negative things about businesses, but I have not been able to stop thinking about this. I even tipped!! I also do not like the way I’m treated in there. The baristas are never friendly and act like it’s miserable and the worst inconvenience ever to take your order. I had one particularly bad experience with a barista there and can’t believe I went back after that. People seem to like this place so I tried to, but I will not be going back. Little Bread Co down the street is so much better. Go there instead people!!

This location use to be such a great spot for locals. The absolute most miserable people work at this location. Previous employees use to be so sweet and tolerant of the community. They would even go as far as making order recommendations and engage with you on whether you liked what they prepared. Now it just seems to be catering towards a different type of plutocratic crowd. It would be one thing if it was just the service that was bad but the coffee and toasts seem to have gone down the drain. They are not worth the price. Is the downgrade in goods sold here being done intentionally? Very weird.

I came back into town and heard Arsaga’s was going out of business or closing down so I thought of going to support them. I even left a competitor’s shop to visit Arsaga’s when I heard this, but I see that this is not the same Arsaga’s anymore. Food, service, and atmosphere have all changed. I saw a seasonal menu online and then found out there wasn’t one in store. The barista was on his phone while I was trying to take my order. He didn’t seem to be happy to answer questions. He wasn’t clear about the pricing of the latte either. The coffee was supposed to be hot and it was barely warm. We didn’t bother staying inside because the atmosphere was not friendly or cozy. I’m pretty disappointed as I tried to support a local business who’s competing with several other local coffee shops in the area, but they clearly need to make improvements. I should have read the recent reviews…

Such a cute little coffee shop!! I cane here with my friend after a farmer’s market and it is so adorable. The staff is super kind and helpful and the food is great! The coffee was pretty good too!

Was greeted by silent staring from barista while placing an order. I’m not a people person either but a simple hi is customary in the hospitality service. My main disappointment is that the toast used to be much, much better. It looks like they switched over to stone mill bread and tastes like they put a lot less effort in. Feels like things may have been made in house at one point but have been substituted for store bought options. With that being said maybe make your toast at home you’ll get a similar outcome.
Just take a look at the first photo which is from 6 years ago, vs the one we took today and make your decision. Disappointing.

If you’re around the area (town square), check this place out! A block from all the boutiques. I ordered the Orchid? I can’t remember which one, but it was something new. There is plenty of outdoor seating area for you to lounge or to hang out with your pup!

Fantastic little coffee shop. Great for anyone who likes fancy coffee drinks or (like me) a cup of straight black coffee. I will be coming back to Arsaga’s. I had the house blend coffee and the Cuban. Let me tell you, the Cuban was amazing! Treat yo self!
