I had dinner at Arrogante with my mom and my fiance and we loved this restaurant. The ambiance is incredible, a beautiful converted colonial mansion, and the service was attentive and friendly. The terrace is pet friendly and they brought out ice water for my mini schnauzer. I had the tortellini bolognese, which tasted homemade and delicious, my mom had the fettucini di mare, and my fiance had the pepper steak with fresh rocket salad. We also tried the polpette and pulpo y papa appetizers, both were delicious. Every dish was enjoyable. We also drank the rosato spritz, a refreshing rosé take on the aperol spritz, and for dessert we had the fagottini di nutella with pistachio ice cream (wow!). I literally have no complaints.

Went in for lunch and did not have a pleasant experience. Our table had a water bottle from the people before us, it was not prepared for new guests. The table next to us had some issues with their order and the restaurant and our server decided to prioritize that table. As a result our food arrived ~45 mins late, we asked multiple times and our waiter seemed more focused on the table next to us. When food arrived it was below average. We did not have a good experience, maybe if you go your experience will be better but I do not recommend it.

This Italian restaurant pretends to aim for a high end public, however, the overall experience is below average when you have to deal with waiters that are more concerned about selling dishes than following the guests requests. The waitstaff lacks the proper knowledge and training. The food quality is not bad and the dishes are nicely presented. Thus, I would definitely recommend for an overall worthwhile dinner to spend your time and money at another Mediterranean place.

Heard a loud noise when the valet was returning my car.
I thought he hit the car in front.
But no, there is a rock that was displaced in the pavement. Noticed it.
The valet drove my car over it.
Acted dumb when we pointed out there was a noise while trying to inspect the car for visual damages in the dark.
If you’re going to valet nice cars, at least hire people who give a shit and have enough awareness to know their surroundings. And at least allow people to park their cars themselves otherwise.
I’m never using a valet again.

I feel like italian restaurants in Panama wont blow your mind even if they use authentic ingredients and recipes. Their carbonara and rissotto was good but nothing amazing. I enjoyed their Canoli filled with pistaccio for not being overly sweet. Their Tiramisu was heavy on the coffee side. Waiters were very good and no time was wasted for ordering or for fpod to arrive.

Pro: service was decent, atmosphere is very nice, loved the pool and lights.
