Really nice place to go eat a really big Machete. They do have several other options on the menu and you will find something you like. I heard the server mention that they had Pozole and Menudo on weekend but it could be every day. The staff were nice and very attentive with us. It may be a weekend thing but they close at 2 pm and reopen at 4 pm, FYI. It was nice and clean and the music was set at a good volume to be able to converse with no issues.

Hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. And I’m from Texas so I’ve had my fair share. Oh my good golly this place is AMAZING! Everything is handmade, the tortillas, the aguas frescas, the salsa, the churros. My husband got the machete, and as you can tell from the photos he thoroughly enjoyed himself. The food is to die for, the atmosphere is welcoming. Even the plates are handmade terra cotta from Mexico. And the staff are the nicest folks you’ll ever meet! The melon aquas frescas was fantastic by the way. It’s so good we have gone here 2 days in a row. 10/10 would recommend to a friend on yelp, well this is google but you get the picture.

We recently visited Arriero del Camino Mexican Restaurant and were really impressed with the food. We tried the machete, torta, birria tacos, and crazy fries — all were flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. The homemade corn and flour tortillas were a standout, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
There are a few areas for improvement. The decor feels pretty dated, and the large empty space inside could definitely benefit from more seating or a warmer layout. They don’t offer refills on drinks, including tea, and there are no complimentary chips and salsa, which many diners might expect. Accessibility is also an issue — the restrooms and parking lot are not wheelchair friendly.
One other consideration is the price. For three people, ordering three meals, one appetizer, and drinks, we spent around $125 after tip, which felt a bit steep for a casual dining experience.
That said, the food was genuinely great, and the service was just as good. With a few tweaks, this place could be even better. It’s worth a visit if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Mexican food!

I wish I’d taken pictures for everyone, but I jumped right in because it looked so good. I was absolutely pleased with my entire experience. The food definitely competes with the best authentic Mexican food in the surrounding area. Delicious!

Had a great meal with the family here! The complimentary chips with beans and cheese are a great little touch you don’t see everywhere. Machete’s were excellent, wife’s Huarache was delicious and my daughters nachos were really great with the homemade chips and a huge portion. Fresh coconut agua fresca was also a great surprise. Will definitely be in the rotation
