Ordered tacos al pastor and chili cheese fries with carne asada through the drive thru. The road was so loud we were barely able to communicate. It took a while to get our food and confusing on where to wait for it. Once we got our food I was disappointed to see my tacos were not authentic, they were hard shell tacos. They didn’t even taste or look like al pastor (not a pineapple in sight) The fries were ok but it barely had any meet in them. Lots of cheese though. Maybe I confused this place with an authentic Mexican restaurant and it’s just a local taco bell type of restaurant??

This place was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious I love the chicken tacos on white. You get to choose from so many different toppings you actually get to make it exactly the way you feel it. It’s an older building you can tell they take pride in it because the place was very clean. I can’t say enough positive things about the staff.

Beyond disappointed paid $9 for a Carne Asada burrito, which was filled with nothing but mainly potatoes that tasted boiled what seemed like powered eggs and 8 LITTLE cubes of steak. This was at their thatcher location. Picked out my 8 tiny pieces of steak and the rest went straight in the trash. You should be ashamed charging $9 for that.

Unfortunately this restaurant just seemed sad. The overall model is akin to Chipolte where burritos are made “fresh” in front of the customer. I say “fresh” because the meat was prepared separately, literally behind a corner, away from the other “fresh” ingredients. The rice had lost all form and turned into a mushy mass. The beans were paste-y with a shell forming over the outer layer. The veggies were in various stages of wilting/curling. I made what looked to be the choices that seemed to be prepped the soonest. I honestly should have just left, but I felt bad and I’ve been surprised by dives before. After paying nearly $15 for the burrito and drink I sat down to “enjoy” my lunch. Two bites later the burrito was in the trash and I was out the door. This place REALLY needs to reinvest in FRESH and try to do more than (poorly) emulate a fast-fresh joint whose concept is hardly innovative anymore.

Steam table looked clean, but all opened, and a fly was enjoying the onions. The carna esada fries were not very good really. Too many beans in my taco salad and no rice which would have made it tastier. Large portions but maybe because only 1 young lady running everything is why not the best.

Burrito was good, freshly made. A lot of variety on the menu. Friendly staff. Salsa was horrible! It was fermented and popped open in my car. Not fresh salsa at all! Overall good food.

Staff was super nice and helpful, food was made to order. The shells were a little over cooked but other then that it was good. We had chicken taco/rice&beans dinner plate about 10.50 and a cup of menudo for about 4.40 came with tortilla,onions,seasons, and lime juice.
