Great Italian Restaurant! The food was superb! Service was great. Very noisy and we were there on a Wednesday evening. We’ve been there on weekends, and although reservations are recommended on weekends especially, even if you do have a reservation, plan on waiting. Not a whole lot of parking either. Only a couple/few handicap spots. If you don’t mind the walk, you can also park on the side street.

I attended the restaurant with a 630pm reservation for eight. Upon arriving on time, we were seated on time. Now the issue and concerns starts. We got our drink order and with water, soda was ordered. I noticed as others after us began were being seated and were served drinks and bread. We received water and two drinks but the two sodas that were ordered came 30 minutes later. A party of four sat next to us, some 30 minutes after we were seated and yet, they were eating and drinking before any of us were. Yes, we were upset, and when I asked the waiter what was the issue, and I quote ” I’m not the cook, I don’t make the food.”
Once our food arrived and we started eating, the waiter made an unwanted statement of sarcasm, and I quote “are ya’ll happy now.” None of us in our group answered, at this time it was sour feelings of mistreatment. RESPECT, is important when it comes to the restaurant business, or maybe in sight our party of eight weren’t the people to be RESPECTED.
Suggestions, when dealing with a group or party of people, make sure your service is courteous, friendly, NON sarcastic, and service oriented. Also, for groups or party of non-normal size, make sure your waiter describes the gratuity up front. The last suggestion, have the manager go around to each table to check on the service and or explain what issues may have arise. Despite his treatment, we remained profession.

I came with my mother to this small family owned italian restaurant and it was amazing. I normally don’t write reviews but this one deserves it. We got the Hot Antipasto appetizer which was phenomenal. For my entree I had the chicken dagnese and it was amazing. The Dagnese sauce was incredible with amazing taste. My mother ordered the tortellini derosa which she loved. I definitely recommend this place, service was great, and to top it off the portions were huge.

My friend and I were seated promptly, but after sitting down, we waited 20 minutes before anyone brought us water — and it wasn’t even our server. In fact, no server ever came to greet us, take our order, or even acknowledge us. We sat there for about 45 minutes with no service at all.
What made the situation even more upsetting was that a couple came in after us and sat right next to us. They were immediately given water and had a server taking their order within minutes. The contrast in treatment was impossible to ignore. It felt discriminatory and deeply uncomfortable.
After waiting and feeling completely overlooked, we decided to get up and leave. No one stopped us, no one checked on us, and no one acknowledged that we had been sitting there the entire time without service.
This was a very disappointing and hurtful experience. I truly expected better.

Eating here felt like a step back to the 1970’s when small neighborhood Italian restaurants were the norm, and everyone who came in was known to everyone eating there. Italian is overheard at the bigger tables and from regulars. Food was served hot, and the restaurant has it’s own uniquely flavored pasta sauce. Crowded, but in a good friendly way. A refuge for those seeking warmth, comfort, and a wonderful meal. Take your time to soak it all in.

Me and my mother went out there for dinner.
I made a reservation ahead of time but when we came in we still had to wait for 20-25 minutes for a table. The manager told me that this is a very busy place and they never know how much time people would spent dining.
The service is fast and food is delicious but you can’t really enjoy your meal or conversation because the noise level is overwhelming!

Quiet Night
Food was pretty tasty.
Bread was warm and well made. Fried mozzarella was two pieces in a small pool of cheese and marinara. Plating was cool but two pieces seemed light.
Side salad and house dressing were very well assorted, and flavorful.
I had the scallops and shrimp fettuccine. It tasted really good, but again; 3 pieces of shrimp? Further, why do restaurants keep leaving tails on these things? It’s not fancy, doesn’t add to anything, just seems pretentious and silly.
Don’t mistake me, it’s a nice restaurant, I strongly recommend, these little things were just noticeable.

I live in KC and work in Cleveland. First time here and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything very fresh and very Italian! I had the chicken Parm sa Iliana which has eggplant parm on top of the chicken parm. It blew me away. Everything was just perfection. Not a 5 star rating because the I terror could really use some updating. But go for the food and service. I will be back.
