Social Profile:

When asked to define our food the answer is ‘clean food based on aroma, appearance, taste and texture. We source locally, organically and adjust seasonally because it’s good for the planet and that’s how we like to eat. We make almost everything in house and can accommodate most personal eating preferences. Established in 1995. Aymee & Robert met cooking in Monterey, CA. After they married and had their daughter Rebeka, all they wanted was to cook together in a place where she could be also. Hand-craft cooks spend a lot of time in the kitchen -lol. A visit to Oregon to introduce Rebeka to Robert’s family landed them in Newport where they found a food culture and community that quickly became home. Arr’ Place was born!

One of the most fantastic restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the perfectly brewed French press coffee to the bold Bloody Mary, every detail is on point. The huevos rancheros were absolutely delicious, and the owners? Total vibe—so sweet and welcoming. You won’t regret coming here

Hidden Gem. We were told about Arr Place from a local who gave us a few recommendations. We had the delicious homemade hash, perfect eggs, bloody Marys and a tiramisu that left me craving more. The special waffle that my husband had served with homemade ice cream was a life changer. Now he can’t have a waffle any other way.

Arr Place is the greatest little hidden gem of Newport! It took years for me to even hear about it! Since then, we’ve been a few times and enjoyed the food and atmosphere each time. What a beautiful place to enjoy a meal and take your time. ☕️

(From an out of towner), this hidden gem of a weekend brunch spot is outstanding! From the service to the food/atmosphere 100/10. They are only open from Friday to Sunday, and we came twice in one weekend. Didn’t capture photos of the first trip but, providing the second trip! If you try anything.. the pancakes are a MUST! Dishes are all homemade and home style feel. Do not skip this spot when you’re in town!

This secret place is absolutely amazing! Aymee and staff are so friendly and genuine! It’s like being back at mom and dad’s kitchen! So happy we decided to go into this place when it seemed like it wasn’t even open or there! Amazing food (ribs, biscuits and gravy, waffles with vanilla ice cream, French press coffee, mimosa) amazing people, amazing atmosphere. This is our new breakfast place for our trips to Nye Beach!
“Can I get sugar with my coffee?” Aymee said, “Do you want raw, processed, or fake?” #realservice #noBS

Everything locally sourced, organic, fresh, from the farmers markets. This place is beyond words, there’s not enough stars. Come here if you appreciate quality and this identifies “made with love”. If you’re looking for quick and easy go do your thing but if you love food, this place is incredible! Mom and pop owned and operated. Sit on the right if you want a free show. We’ve been on the road for a few weeks and eat out a lot, this is by far the best food we’ve had, like ever. Love the hidden gem, it’s not easily noticeable, we walked by and didn’t realize it was a freaking diamond of a breakfast joint, looks like a house.
The seasonal mix was phenomenal. The salmon Benedict made me like fish which I’ve always been grossed out by. The Bloody Mary is PERFECT. The coffee is in French press. These guys are incredible. Thank you for the amazing experience!
I’m terribly sorry for my sailor mouth just before we left when I was explaining how freaking good this was. ❤️

Kind of like going over to your Aunt and Uncles house for an elaborate home-made breakfast. Everything is made from scratch! Show up early to ensure a seat. Start with dessert featuring home-made ice cream. We had raspberry bread pudding with cinnamon and buttermilk ice cream. Omg so good with coffee. We also had eggs Beni n mix of the moment to get some veggies in there. Plan a nap for after! We were pleasantly surprised to ever get hungary again .

Small and quaint, like Grandma’s house. Plan on waiting a bit, delicious food! Recommend eating the dessert first. After not having great experiences at other beaches for food, this one will be on repeat

This must be a top 10 breakfast/brunch spot in America. Everything is scratch made, and done incredibly well. Small menu, straightforward options but they’ve been perfected.

They focus on sweet options – “Life is short, begin with dessert” – but plenty of savory staples like corned beef hash, eggs Benedict, even ribs. You won’t leave hungry.

What’s best is 60%+ of patrons are locals and chatting with each other & the wonderfully charming hosts/owners.

One of the best places in Newport.

Whenever I walk into a diner, Arr Place is what I wish it was like – like you’re being welcomed in by old friends. The atmosphere is casual, the food is fantastic, and the owners are wonderfully warm.

Fun fact – a waffle with cinnamon ice cream and syrup tastes like cinnamon toast crunch. But better.

Menu prices are a bit higher than you’d expect from a typical dine, but this isn’t a typical diner – it’s more than worth it.
