Go see David and his wife Ning at Aroy. The food was amazing. Fresh and made to order! No wait. No issue parking. Only spent $49 including two main entrees and a Thai Tea with free refills. Also had portions big enough to take leftovers home for another meal. I had the stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts. My husband had the Red Curry Panang chicken. Don’t let the strip mall building scare you away! It’s in the old Tangerine Fusion location. You can bring your own wine or beer. They do not sell liquor.

An absolute gem! The Gai Pad Sauce Ma Ka and Cashew Nut were spot on—cooked to perfection. Everything from start to finish was excellent. The food was incredibly fresh, full of authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and truly delicious.

WOW! Authentic, absolutely delicious, and beautiful! Serve staff was spectacular. Quality of care and urgency to serve unmatched. Plate licking delicious! Definitely get over to Aroy Thai Cuisine, have the Thai tea, and the green sauce amongst any fare on the menu! We tried to take pictures, but the food was so great it disappeared faster than we could get the camera out.

I’m staying at the TownePlace Suites in Savannah, and tucked into the corner of the little strip mall next to the hotel is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever walked into.
I ordered Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) and a Thai tea, and this was easily the most authentic, home-style Thai meal I’ve had in a long time. The wide rice noodles were glossy and chewy, the vegetables were fresh, the chicken tender, and the seasoning perfect. I heard the wok going hard in the back — someone in that kitchen has serious skills. They even gave me real roasted Thai chili powder on the side so I could make it spicier — which I did, and it cleared my sinuses in the best way possible. The portion was huge, and the Thai tea was delicious and generously filled.
The woman at the register told me it was her first time ringing someone up, and she was so warm and excited that her energy genuinely made the whole experience feel special. Paired with the incredible food, it felt like being welcomed into someone’s kitchen rather than just picking up takeout.
This meal was such an unexpected delight and truly a rare find. If you’re anywhere near this part of Savannah, do yourself a favor and go here. The food and the hospitality are outstanding — a genuine hidden gem.

My husband and I took our 2 teenagers to Aroy Thai Cuisine on a whim for the first time last night and it was a FANTASTIC experience with delicious, flavor-packed food and excellent customer service!
It was my daughter’s night to pick dinner– she wanted Thai, but we didn’t want to go downtown and deal with parking and walking in the rain (the couple times we’ve been out for Thai as a family has only been Ruan Thai on Broughton). We weren’t even aware that Aroy was back there just minutes from home (the location was Tangerine last time we went there), but thankfully it showed up on google “restaurants near me.”
I was impressed from the moment we arrived in the parking lot. I couldn’t find a spot, so I called Aroy and asked if they even had tables available. I told the co-owner/husband we were there in the parking lot looking for a spot. He came out on the phone, directed me to park next to the building, and then told us when another table left so that we could move to a regular spot.
The menu was a bit different and unfamiliar from other Thai restaurants I’ve been to over the years. All 4 of us asked the owner question after question after question about the food and recommendations. The owner/husband/waiter graciously answered every question we had plus more. He really spent a lot of time going over the menu with each of us until we were ready to order. He really wanted to understand the flavors that we each like and made different recommendations for each of us. We also learned that his wife is from Thailand and is the cook. They told us that they have the only truly authentic Thai cuisine in Savannah.
The 4 of us each ordered a different meal, but we all tasted everything:
Chicken Fried Rice
Beef Oyster Sauce
Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts
Pad See Ew (very similar to drunken noodles)
It was ALL delicious!! Nothing was too spicy. We ordered mild and added from the spice tray to taste.
Sorry this was so long, but it’s really just to say that the customer service and food were wonderful! Price wasn’t terrible either. The cost of our 4 entrees, a soda and a tea, plus tax and tip was $120 (we did not order alcohol or appetizers).
We will definitely be back!

A little hard to find but well worth the trip. Visiting family in Savannah and stopped for dinner. Service is so prompt and friendly. Ordered goong rad sauce ma gam shrimp with green onions, broccoli, peppers with tamarin sauce and a huge mound of rice. Came out steaming hot and fresh. I ate the entire plate and wanted to take home another plate . You can BYOB but I will take the Pink Milk

Great restaurant with amazing Thai food! The tom yum is one of the best I’ve had. It’s a unique variations that’s nice and creamy. Loved it. The papaya salad is great as well. My Thai wife loved everything. The owner and her husband are very friendly and kind.

The food was fresh and flavorful — I tried the Drunken Noodles and Thai Fried Rice, and both were excellent. My only suggestion would be to offer a spice level option (1–5) like many other Thai restaurants do.
I also had the Matcha Tea and Thai Tea, both of which were delicious.

Also tried egg roll. Unbelievably crunchy, tend more to the mellow and complimentary side dish, paired well with everything.
The dipping sauce is also homemade and unique unlike ones on market.
