We had breakfast and lunch menu items and both were better than average nj diner quality. The food was not greasy, overly salty or fatty. The portions were large and everything arrived at the right temp. There are some issues with service in terms of understanding the order, service of the ordered items and visiting the tables for check ins even if the restaurant isnt full but that seemed to be more due to new staff or under trained staff than a full restaurant. The decor and cleanliness of the restaurant is top notch retro jersey diner and deserves top marks for appearance but the half full dining room takes a little away from the atmosphere. The burgers and sandwiches were great and the eggs and pancakes and coffees were great. If the service was better this would be a solid 4!

Portions are generous, the menu is broad enough for any craving, and the shakes are a fun throwback. Service can get a bit busy during peak hours, but the staff stay friendly and upbeat. A solid spot to refuel in between exploring the mall.

Around the Clock is a cozy diner located inside the American Dream Mall. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were a group of six, and the service remained smooth and efficient throughout.
The food portions were generous and satisfying. We tried a variety of dishes, including the Cobb salad, chicken wings, burgers, spaghetti and meatballs, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was fresh and flavorful—especially the wings and mozzarella sticks, which were standouts.
Overall, it was a great experience. Delicious food, fair pricing, and excellent service. We’re definitely coming back!

Today I visited Around the Clock Diner for dinner, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff and waitresses were super friendly and made us feel more than welcome even after my daughter changed seats three times, going from outside to inside and back outside again when she realized the inside table was smaller.
The food was a 10 out of 10 hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were big, and everything was served quickly. The drinks were just as impressive. You won’t be disappointed dining here!

We came here for what was supposed to be a nice dinner after shopping. The biggest issue wasn’t that our drinks didn’t come for over 20 minutes, it wasn’t that two people in our party didn’t get their food until 15+ minutes after everyone else, or that they forgot an entree, not even the fact that they weren’t busy enough to warrant the delay. The biggest issue is how disgusting the bathrooms were and the fact that the owner, instead of being appreciative that we quietly let him know made excuses and was beyond rude. What kind of restaurant makes excuses for a dirty bathroom next to the kitchen that doesn’t even have soap for employees? Such a tacky person who severely lacks manners and has no appreciation for his patrons.

The food and atmosphere was actually pretty decent, especially for the price. I don’t know why their reviews are low. The bathroom was clean, tables were clean, food came out quick, and the servers, and hosts, were very friendly. I’m a vegan (my partner is not) but we both found something tasty to eat!

I went with my whole family. The adults had drinks and said they were good. We ordered some appetizers—nachos were cold, but the hummus was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow.

Love the extensive menu, typical diner just in the Mall. We were 8, our server Henry was great. I asked at the start for separate checks and Henry did it! Worked out nicely and I’ll say this time, having the gratuity (20%) added automatically, worked out perfectly, mainly because he was great!
Everyone’s meal was delivered in good time and correct. I will certainly return and have another meal here. Not too loud so we could all talk. It’s a good spot.

I loved this place. Food was excellent and perfectly cooked. I had steak and eggs and we also had the salmon sesame salad. Both great and the price was reasonable. Even the coffee was excellent. The atmosphere is very clean and modern with high ceilings, comfortable booths, great Diner atmosphere. Our wiater (Jay I think his name was) was great, didn’t rush us and was very attentive. The food here is as good as any Diner in NJ, and I’ve been to many. Highly recommended

Around the clock is a modern day diner. It serves everything from a skirt steak to a three cheese omelet. I dined with a 8 person party and we all thought it was good. It didn’t start off so strong with an extremely long wait but we moved past it and ordered our food. About 20 minutes later we received our food. I got buttermilk chicken sandwich while others got the cheesesteak, wings and avacado and chicken club. It was good but nothing too special the service was sufficient but not close to the intended service. Its main selling is its atmosphere which was very nice and enjoyable which, to be honest was the only reason that we could even bare the insufferable wait.
