Aromas Del Peru Hammocks is a traditional Peruvian restaurant on Hammocks Boulevard in Miami. We focus on bringing true Peruvian traditional dishes and Nikkei flavor to the table. We have numerous locations and we’re excited for our customers to order our catering, and come in for lunch and dinner. We also host special occasion holiday reservations for big groups.

I hadn’t been here in a free years. But what a great experience. The waitress was very helpful and recommended a few items that were not on menu that were amazing glad she did. Went with a friend that only spoke English and she did her best and made sure she explained everything in English so he understood. The food was amazing the risotto was a little salty and I told the waitress and she wanted to change it but I don’t return food unless it’s a health hazard. But she kept trying to help us. But regardless everything else was amazing. Thank you so much I’m glad I decided to go there that night.

Aromas del Peru
This weekend we visited Aromas del Peru.
The ceviche was absolutely top-level. The cuisine is outstanding overall — everything related to raw fish was prepared with great care, full of flavor, and felt very authentic to Peruvian style, as far as I can judge. Everything was fresh, well-balanced, and very appetizing.
I would especially like to highlight Lomo Saltado — an excellent dish and definitely one of the best on the menu.
The Tuna Tartare was good as well, although it felt a bit dry; a little more sauce would have made it perfect.
Desserts were excellent. We tried the Tiramisu and Cuatro Leches — both were very interesting and delicious. I highly recommend trying the desserts here.
The only important downside was the service at the beginning. After we were seated, it took over 10 minutes before the staff noticed us, brought the menus, and greeted us. I understand the restaurant was busy, but the initial guest welcome and prompt menu service are crucial in any restaurant and should be handled much faster. Guests can always be given time afterward to review the menu and receive recommendations, but the first contact should be immediate.
Overall, the food is on a very high level, but the service needs improvement.
Because of that, I’m giving 3 stars.

We’ve been to this restaurant several times, and it’s always an amazing experience! The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, with a nice, comfortable vibe. Ruth, our waitress, was outstanding—very cordial, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. The consistency of great service and a well-kept environment keeps us coming back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for excellent food and top-notch service!

This has become my regular spot for several years now. But theres one reason my wife and I return, and its the service. Alejandro in particular has been a pleasant face each time we visit. The food is consistently amazing. Overall great restaurant. You can’t go wrong here.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere. This place is a hidden gem serving delicious Peruvian food. Ruth provided amazing service. Definitely will come back next time we visit from Canada.
