⭐ Delicious Sri Lankan Food and Warm Hospitality
It’s wonderful to finally have a truly authentic Sri Lankan restaurant in North Carolina, right here in the Raleigh–Durham area. The food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the Nasi Goreng, fried rice, Koththu, and chicken curry, and every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and spice.

The owner and staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions.

I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more dishes on the menu!

We tried the Pol Roti, Egg Hoppers, Nasi Goreng, and Mix Kottu. each dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavor.. The location is great, the restaurant is very clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Totally worth the drive

We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our road trip, and what a delightful find it was! Aromaa is the only Sri Lankan restaurant we came across in North Carolina, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely out of this world—full of authentic flavors that made every bite memorable. We especially enjoyed the drinks, desserts, and the warm, friendly company that made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Absolutely loved the food and service from the owner himself. Classic Sri Lankan egg hoppers, fried mushroom and chicken Koththu deserves a special mention with the Watalappam as a desert. Hopefully we can see the restaurant located closer to Cary or Raleigh in the future.

Great place for some good food. I went for a weekend dinner and had we ordered a calamari appetizer which was spicy and yummy. I got the deviled chicken and it was amazing, 100% would order again. Cute little whole in the wall location with nice staff.

A hidden gem in Raleigh! Our Seafood Kottu along with the Shrimp and Lamb Nasi Goreng were delicious. They rank among the top most flavorful dishes we’ve ever had. Dinner portions were large and we both had plenty of food to take home. Sherwin, the owner, is very welcoming and took great care of us. We highly recommend this place and we’re so happy we stopped by to check it out. They also have Sri Lankan Lunch Buffet from 12-3PM on Sundays for ~$25. They serve loaded chicken pizza, burgers, and wings, too.

Tried out this new Sri Lankan spot in Raleigh and was seriously impressed! We had the Nasi Goreng, Mix Koththu, and the hot battered calamari—every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentic.

we had a Falooda and it was good too ,they have other juice options too. The service was friendly and the atmosphere cozy—felt like a little slice of Sri Lanka right here in North Carolina.

Everything was spot on. We’ll definitely be going back soon!
