This was our first time trying Aroma y sabor & it will definitely not be our last! Food was delicious & the staff was super nice. My daughter & I shared the soup on special and it was AMAZING! My husband got chicken & his was yummy too! (& for dessert they have house made bread & pastries!) Definitely 5 stars! If you’re looking to try something new in the Palm Harbor area, or if you like traditional Columbian food, check them out!!

We had a wonderful experience! The food was excellent, Compliments to the chef , and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Carlos was kind and attentive; he was very responsive to our requests and took the time to explain some of the menu items, which we really appreciated.
We drove about half an hour to get here after a recommendation, and it was absolutely worth it. We will definitely return.

The Colombian food is downright savory and authentic at this local Palm Harbor restaurant. For anyone whose big on meat and heavy starches one can’t go wrong here, and the portions are quite hardy there’s enough to make a second meal out of one.
The owner and waitstaff are extremely attentive and will not hesitate to substitute items in the menu if one prefers a specific meat or starch over another. Carlos, the proprietor, and Carmen, the chef, make a great duo, planning meals that are simple, yet incredibly satisfying and satiating and might remind a Colombian of home cooked food. There is no better example than their version of Beef Stew, known as Sancocho ‘San-ko-cho’, which is made from tender beef chuck roast, parboiled tubers and vegetables, such as yucca, plantains, potatoes, and corn, served with rice and avocado slices. Delicious.
Check out the pictures for verification. In picture one, this is called the Bandeja Aroma & Sabor, which comes with Morcilla (Black Pudding), chorizo, which is not in the picture, Chicharrón (fried pork belly), egg, rice, red beans and avocado. Picture two, is the Pechuga De Pollo A La Plancha, picture three, is the Bandeja Paisa, which comes with an amazing Pechuga Empanizada or Breaded Fried Chicken, and the last picture is the Pollo Al Limón, chicken in a creamy lemon based sauce.
In addition to the modest and clean decoration of the restaurant, they also have a small bakery with a range of Colombian treats like pandebonos and pastry. Colombian food here is made with LOVE.

I’ve tried a few things on their menu and haven’t been disappointed yet. The portion sizes are generous and I always leave with a to-go box due to being unable to finish it in one sitting. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. They never leave me waiting long no matter how busy they are. I would recommend highly to anyone who likes Colombian food or to folks looking for something new.

We stopped in for lunch to try out this restaurant for the first time. Short story – we loved it – and will be back. It’s a small spot in a shopping plaza, with a bunch of tables for dining. It has a bakery counter right by the door with some wonderful items that give you a great “smell” experience as you enter. The service was friendly and prompt. I had the chicken curry (Cazuela De Pollo Al Curry) – it looked and tasted great! The broth was very smooth and the vegetables and spices were fantastic! My wife had the lemon chicken (Pollo Al Limon) and loved that as well. We also had a queso and a beef empanada for an appetizer. The fillings were very tasty as well as the dipping sauce but the crust was different than what we’ve had at other spots and wasn’t my fave. We got a bread to take home for breakfast and it was also wonderful. Overall we really enjoyed this spot!

What a hidden gem in Palm Harbor. We just stumbled upon this little bakery and Colombian diner. The atmosphere is top notch, the service is great and the food is yummy. Had the chicken sandwich and the steak and eggs breakfast.

Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. Delicious food, service, and flavors! Our waitress was the sweetest! We shared a mix platter for two and it was plenty and allowed us to try a little bit of everything with various dipping sauces. Can only recommend!
