Your food elevated the entire event, 10s across the board. And Calvin Bowman deserves a standing ovation. His knowledge of proper food temps and timing was next-level, and he jumped in with support while I was juggling a dozen moving parts. That kind of partnership is gold.
Your team played a major role in the night’s success, and I’m looking forward to teaming up again for future office catering. Appreciate you and your team more than you know. Happy Holidays!!!
There were some wafts of dirty mop water at the door. Luckily it didn’t smell at the table.
Service was slow to come around to take our order (10-15 minutes) although the waiters seat you and there were only two other tables of customers when we went (one of which had ordered before we got there). Another waiter came to the table 25 minutes after we arrived to ask if our order had been taken yet which just added insult to injury that the food was not out and they didn’t even know if we had ordered 25 minutes in.
The food was tasty, but they failed to make the vindaloo spicy despite asking for it very spicy when ordering.
The naan was super thin and came after our appetizer and later than the entrees. And for the $4, we got a single piece naan. It was not what we expected and was not worth the money for a single piece.
We ordered kheer as well and it was good, but they charged us $7 for it despite the menu showing it should have been $5.
Excellent Tandoori chicken and they have very good masala chai. Also a great place for vegetarians and people with a gluten allergy!
The bhaigan bharta was the best our vegetarian friend has had in the area. They also have a gluten allergy and raved about the makki roti (corn roti) which surrounding Indian restaurants simply don’t offer.
Beautiful location – probably the fanciest looking Indian restaurant in Fairfax. The kind of place that can host parties. There is also an individual room for special occasions that I believe can be reserved.
Yadav provided excellent service – thank you!
Enjoy
