Aroma was a pleasant experience overall. The ambiance was okay, and the service was spot on.
The presentation of the dishes was beautiful. The dosa and butter chicken were good, though I felt the butter chicken lacked a bit in richness of flavor and consistency. As for the flour-based dishes we ordered(dosa, garlic naan, puri), they were very bland. I’m not sure if that’s how they are supposed to be, but I personally wish they had more flavor.
The sauces were spot on, very flavorful.
Still, it was a great experience. I’m giving 5 stars because my feedback reflects more about the business itself than my personal taste preferences.

Food is really delicious, it’s my second time coming along with my family. Good place to go & eat your favorite food. I tried there dum chicken biryani, chicken tandoori, palak paneer, butter chicken, chilli chicken, samosas, garlic naan, regular naan, masala chai, guys give it a try, it’s worth it. 5 STARS

Visited Aroma in Frederick with family. The service was excellent—staff were friendly and helpful. Food was a mixed bag: we loved the samosa chaat, and the goat biryani and chicken tandoori were pretty good. Stuffed mirchi was just okay. The chicken biryani was disappointing, and the egg noodles had a strong raw smell—even after a replacement. Overall, great service but food quality was inconsistent.

This place is only about 1/2 hour away from Harpers Ferry, WV so would recommend it to any tourists looking for some authentic and delicious Indian cuisine! I would love to visit again!

On March.22.2025 afternoon we ordered Chicken dum biryani. After long time we decided to have biryani instead of some other food.. and same time they offers discounts on appetizers & biryani’s as well because of 1st year anniversary.

Went for Lunch with my friends. Most of the food we ordered was very good. Loved the chat. My rava dosa took a while to get to my table but it was worth the wait. From paav bhaji to pani puri it was mouth watering. I wouldn’t suggest the Chinese dishes though. Go for the Indian dishes.

Our order featured about 25 different dishes, and the quality was outstanding—we’d easily rate it a 5/5. Amazing vegetarian restaurant in Buckeystown, offers nice varieties of Indian fast food with authentic Indian taste. Specious interiors and all white lighting makes it a cool ambience to enjoy your food. Very polite and friendly staff makes sure that as a customer you have a great experience! I would love visiting this place again and again!

I was eagerly anticipating the opening day of Honest Indian Restaurant and was excited to try their food. Unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag. The Chole Bhature dish was a standout, with its well-balanced spices and delicious flavors. However, the idly was a major disappointment, as it was solid as rock and not fluffy like I expected. The cheese Masala Pav looked promising, but it was extremely soggy and lacked flavor, so I had to send it back. The Faluda was decent, but not worth the high $12 price tag. The Mysore Masala Dosa was good but the chutneys were off. In conclusion, my experience at Honest Indian Restaurant on their opening day was average, with some hits and some misses.
Hope they improve the quality !
