Visited this Indian cuisine restaurant in New Orleans and had a wonderful dining experience. The hospitality was great—staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome.

The Chilli Paneer appetizer is a must-try, perfectly spiced and full of flavor. I also loved their tandoori breads, which were fresh, soft, and paired really well with the curries. The Kadai Paneer entrée was my favorite dish of the meal—rich, flavorful, and cooked just right.

For dessert, both the Gulab Jamun and the Mango Quinoa dessert were amazing. I learned that they keep changing their dessert menu, but I really hope they keep the Mango Quinoa on the menu because it was unique and absolutely delicious. To top it all off, their Masala Chai was the best I had in town—authentic, comforting, and perfectly brewed.

Overall, a fantastic spot for Indian food in NOLA, especially if you love paneer. I would definitely visit again!

I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant in New Orleans. The staff were warm and attentive, and the owner, Kishore, was very friendly and welcoming—he even shared some interesting stories about the restaurant. The Chilli Paneer appetizer was perfectly spiced, and the Kadai Paneer was rich and flavorful. The fresh, soft tandoori breads complemented the dishes perfectly. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun and Mango Quinoa were both fantastic, with the Mango Quinoa being a unique highlight. Their Masala Chai is one of the best I’ve had in town. Overall, great food and hospitality—highly recommend.

I visited Aroma Restaurant with my American friend and we absolutely loved the food! We tried the Indian Chai, Egg Dosa, and Chicken Manchurian, and everything tasted amazing, full of authentic Indian flavor. The chai had the perfect spice balance, the dosa was crisp and flavorful, and the chicken Manchurian was delicious. What makes this place even better is that the owner himself cooks the food, and he’s from India, you can really taste the authenticity and passion in every dish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy real Indian food. Highly recommend!

Was spending the day in Uptown/Garden District and after many days of fried food, I knew I wanted to go back to some good old Indian flavor. Had the malai kofta and paneer tikka masala which were both phenomenal. Indian spicy is true Indian spice – amazing!! Service was fast, restaurant clean, and overall a great dinner!

Our family came here since we often eat Indian food back home in Houston, and it was excellent! The mild Tikka Masala was mild enough for our kids, but still flavorful, and the garlic naan was perfect. Service was great as well. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for solid Indian Food in a great quiet part of town.

I’m SO EXCITED that my favorite Indian restaurant opened a location uptown!!! I’ve been to the original location many times, and I can confirm that this location is just as great. I came with a group of 5 at 8pm and we were seated immediately. All of the food was absolutely delicious, as usual. Our server, a nice young man, was very professional and attentive. I tried the rose lassi and the coconut shrimp curry for the first time, and both of these were very good. I will definitely return to Aroma!!

The food is phenomenal. I’ve been to both locations and can’t complain about the food. I had the butter chicken and the goat biryani and both were top notch. I don’t particularly like their style of naan because it isn’t fluffy like I’m accustomed to, but it doesn’t taste bad. I’ve been twice, the service the first time was awesome, the service the next time was pretty slow. It is a little pricy, it was about $100 for three of us, but a real nice place to take your special someone out for a great meal with nice ambiance.

The staff is very accommodating, I accidentally placed incorrect order but they were lovely about it. I had the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. Tasted pretty good and fresh! The chicken was nicely done. Just wish it was spicier. Would love if they offered different levels of spice. I have been in the restaurant as well and the decor is cute!

The most Amazing restaurant! Luscious is a word, succulent too, zesty also and happy and fun to describe our experience. 2nd time here, it’s a must every time I visit NOLA now.. and I grew up here. We love this place. Chai steeped in a pot in the kitchen, you will admit, once tried, that you have never tasted better. Mayur is a fine host and waiter who is genuinely happy when you enjoy your meal. Ok enough, go there or be square!
