Arom Dee Thai is a total gem! We had an amazing spread, but the standout was definitely the Soft Shell Crab in Yellow Curry—perfectly crispy and the sauce was so rich and flavorful. The Papaya Salad had the perfect kick, and the Deep Fried Fish was massive, fresh, and served with all the right herbs. Even the presentation in the traditional fire pot made the meal feel special. Authenticity and quality are 10/10 here. Can’t wait to come back!

A definite five star restaurant – from vibe to service and most importantly the FOOD! Kee Mao noodle is amazing as I love the spicy, sweet and savory taste! The thai basil tostadas both of us are impressed by savory taste and chicken wings are so delicious with their sauce. The dessert is the best as we really enjoy how the savory sweet coconut sticks rice with mango is so compatible! The service is also considerate but not pushy at all. I’ll definitely come back if I visit this neighborhood again!

We began with the peanut dumplings, which were immediately striking in appearance. The soft blue wrappers were plated on crisp lettuce and finished with small flowers and herbs. Inside, the dumplings were warm and satisfying, with a rich peanut filling that balanced soft and crunchy textures. The curry puff followed and delivered exactly what it should. The pastry was light and flaky, not greasy, and the curry filling was hot, aromatic, and well seasoned.

One small but appreciated detail was the Thai iced tea service. Guests are asked to choose their sweetness level, which is rare and welcome for me who is trying to consume less sugar.

For the main courses, we opted for sticky rice rather than standard white rice, which carried a one dollar upcharge. The tamarind duck was flavorful and lean, avoiding the heaviness that can sometimes come with duck. While the skin was not crispy, it appeared to be an intentional preparation choice, and the dish remained balanced and enjoyable. The fried branzino stood out as the most memorable entrée. The fish was moist and tender, with fluffy white flesh and crisp, flavorful skin. The fish meat had been removed from the bones, fried, and then carefully placed back on top of the fish for presentation.

Service throughout the meal was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The pacing of the courses was comfortable, and the staff was engaged and accommodating. Prices were in line with expectations for the quality offered, neither inexpensive nor excessive. Overall, Arom Dee Thai delivers a dependable and enjoyable dining experience with strong execution and thoughtful details. It is a place worth returning to, particularly to explore more of the menu.

This restaurant is a must-try! Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavor and perfectly executed. The Khao Soi was rich and authentic, and the Duck Udon Kee Mao was a fantastic noodle dish. The Thai Basil Tostada was a delicious surprise. Can’t wait to come back!

The food here is amazing. I love the Tostada, a great fusion of Thai and Mexican flavors. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience warm and welcoming. The place itself is beautifully decorated, with a cozy yet stylish vibe that makes you want to stay longer and enjoy the atmosphere. I’d love to come back here again.

I had a lovely lunch of crispy pork belly with egg noodles and peanuts, and coconut mango sticky rice for dessert. Delicious meal and excellent service. 10/10 recommend.

I just ordered from this restaurant for the first time through UberEats and chose the Koong Aob Woon Sen. I was extremely upset to discover bacon/pork in the dish when I opened the container — especially because the menu description did NOT list pork as an ingredient. I do not eat pork, and this is a major quality-assurance and labeling issue. Customers deserve accurate ingredient information so they can make safe and appropriate choices.

Because of this experience, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Their lunch menu is available every day of the week. We got two lunch entrees, it’s just a regular entree but with salad in sesame sauce and 1 vegetarian spring roll.

Pad See Ew, green curry, and the special tumyum soup were so good!!

Absolutely delicious food and amazing staff. The atmosphere was very comfortable and a very attentive staff. The flavors of the pad Thai reminded me of when I was in Thailand. We ordered Pad Thai, Basil Fried Rice, Chicken Satay and friend banana for dessert. We will definitely be coming back! I’m happy to have a fresh and authentic local Thai place to enjoy!

I’m so happy I stopped in! I used to live near Little Thailand in Queens, and since moving back to Brooklyn, I hadn’t found a spot that lived up to that experience—until now. The food here is incredibly fresh, the atmosphere is cute and trendy, and the service is absolutely top-notch. Everyone who works here is friendly, attentive, and clearly knows their stuff. They checked in often to make sure my drink was full and that I was enjoying everything—which I absolutely was.

I ordered the curry puffs, the Pad Mama Seafood, and the mango sticky rice. I meant to snap a photo of the curry puffs, but they looked so good I couldn’t resist diving in right away! The Pad Mama Seafood was cooked and spiced to perfection. The mango sticky rice was deliciously sweet and fresh with the perfect amount of chew. I had planned to take some home for my husband to try, but it was so delicious that I couldn’t leave a single bite behind.

I will definitely be coming back. Thank you all for helping make Bay Ridge such a fantastic destination for foodies!

Update: I came back with my husband. He’s now obsessed too.
