Stopped by on our way back to Minneapolis. I got a birria burrito and my boy friend got the birria tacos. This was the best burrito and tacos we’ve ever had! Both were so juicy and the great salsa and chips really were the best pairing. I can’t recommend this place enough! The owner was so friendly, and came to check in to see how we were doing and to ask how the food was! He even gave us a sample tray of all the different meats! All were amazing but the pork was the best!! Next time I’m in the area I will be coming back and trying the spicy pork burrito!

I stopped in for lunch after hearing from someone I know this was a good Mexican spot for lunch
Placed an order online for a lunch take out . When I arrived at the time of the pickup order was not ready : in fact my online order ticket was still in the machine and no one had realized it was there . Was told to wait 10 minutes and it would be out .
I had ordered the four quesadillas plate without beans nor rice . Plate came with beans and rice : I do not like waste and this was wasteful . Again , it feels like the order had not been properly looked at as requested . Quesadillas were very greasy and overly salty . By the time I started eating them they were dripping with grease .
French fries were raw on the inside and almost overcooked and over seasoned on the outside . I think they rushed these too much to make up for time of forgotten order , as it was not properly cooked . Shame because they advertised as fresh .
The portions are big and if that is something you value then I give them that .
I feel perhaps they might have had a bad day on that day, even though there was no one in the store when I arrived : completely empty .
It’s unfortunate but in my experience there are other Mexican locations in town with better quality food and service .

Arods has been my man and I’s favorite restaurant the last year! Arods himself is such an amazing human and puts so much heart and soul into the food. The best tex-mex in Wisconsin, if you ask me! We crave the birria tacos weekly, if not more. Come get you some Arods!

Holy cow, finally stopped by to try. Been wanting to for a while. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. My son and I both ordered birria tacos w sides (beans and rice). Blown away, best we’ve had. And the beans??? Um, I can’t even describe how delicious they were. Have never had anything even remotely that flavorful. I’d go back just for them. Can’t wait to try more items!

The nachos only had a tiny amount of cheese sauce. My keto chicken quesadilla was falling apart, lacked flavor and the chicken was very dry!!! The side of salsa was quite spicy/hot, hotter than I’ve received from Mexican restaurants.

It is such a unique place to visit, full of flavor with large portions, with a great post pandemic self made story ; and while the place feels improvised, it still manages to capture the owner’s passion for food, who seems to be at the front desk to receive you.
We tried the sandwiches, which were great; the Texas-style toast is unique.
Try the big vato if you are hungry; it even comes with meat juice. It’s a quick and accessible place that might not be great in place but excellent on the go. ,

The food we received was good, how ever we were missing multiple things. first we ordered two sandwiches which were both there. We ordereed two beef tacos we only got one. Second we ordered a side of rice did not receive that third we ordered a buria sauce on the side didn’t receive that either. Pretty disappointed overall. So if you order food to go there I would definitely check your order before leaving

If you’re craving great food, this place is a must-visit! The menu has so many tasty options, from delicious meats to fresh vegetables, and everything is cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. I’m totally stuffed and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend trying the chimichangas, smothered fries, and the 3-taco plate! You won’t be disappointed—definitely stop by!

Ordered from here after browsing Doordash for some quick, local tacos/burritos for pickup. Our order was almost completely wrong. We ordered the 2 Chicken Tacos w/Sides (no onion, double beans) and some Chicken Nachos (no onion, no sour cream). When I opened the box I had 2 chicken tacos covered with onion and double rice instead of double beans. The chicken nachos not only had onion and sour cream all over them, but additionally had lettuce and tomato on them which is not what the site nor Doordash advertised. The tacos were super flavorful, I have to admit, and if the order had been right, this would probably be a 4 star review at least. The service was alright, just a friendly guy working the counter, but felt kind of like they were trying to keep me there by talking about the deals and stuff and how it’s cheaper to order it through the website. I totally get it – just trying to make polite conversation, but I really needed to get in and out. I’ll maybe give it a shot again in a few months, but I’ll be checking my order before I walk out the door.
