Quality is okay, quanity is disappointing. Today was my third time ordering from here through DoorDash, and it’s the last. Each order has had it’s own problems, but this one was the final straw. I paid $10.99 for an order of breaded mushrooms, and recived 8 SMALL bites of mushrooms. I did complain through DoorDash and received a $2.03 refund, so still paying over a dollar per bite. Will not return, as the first issues was burnt chicken on my salad, second time I ordered the salad but received no dressing, and now this.

Great pizza! The young ladies here give you exceptional service with a smile . Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area or just passing through.

Arni’s … whether in Lafayette, Rensselaer or any of its other many locations … is always great! One of our very favorite places to eat.

Awful gluten free pizza without any sauce and burnt. Picture shows my nasty gluten free vs regular pizza.mine is awful, dry, no sauce, burnt sausage, no cheese.

Took 40 minutes to get my Stromboli sandwich for dine in today. When it finally came out it was not the fully correct order. Sent it back to get the correct sides, in which case my sandwich sat on the counter (as I went to go refill my beverage, and saw part of meal just sitting there), then waited an additional 10 minutes to only eat the French fries because my sandwich was cold. The other patrons at my table were finished with all of their food by the time my hot fries and cold sandwich arrived to the table.

There were a few Togo orders today going out the doors, but I still can’t understand the initial 40 minutes it took for a dine in sandwich. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Staff wasn’t even apologetic.

I’m posting on this forum to give a voice to myself, my frustration and experience tonight with Arni’s in Rensselaer. I live in DeMotte and drove to Rensselaer and en route ordered a pizza. I am severe to profoundly deaf, was born deaf, and rely on lip-reading for communication. I use Bluetooth that goes thru my hearing aids to talk on the phone. Although I can’t hear very well, I speak very well with years of speech therapy. I state all of this as a precursor. When I speak on the phone, sometimes I’m able to turn on a live caption but couldn’t this time since I was driving. As a hearing impaired person, when I call in food orders, I say what I want and often have no idea what is said back to me. I just hope and pray it’s right?! I ordered a large sausage pizza. When I got home, I opened it up and it was pepperoni. I immediately called them to let them know. The lady proceeded to tell me that I ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza. I stated that I ordered a large sausage. She then asked me what was on my pizza. I told her that it primarily looked like a pepperoni pizza with a little bit of sausage sprinkled on it and that I don’t even like pepperoni and I would never order this. I explained that I have ordered there numerous times. She then said, they were running low on sausage and this is why there isn’t very much on there because they would receive a shipment tomorrow. She then told me that my order was repeated to me on the phone and I agreed to it. I explained to her that I didn’t hear that and my disability and again what I ordered. She proceeded to say how I could hear her on the phone now. I tried explaining to her that since I was at home, I turned on my live caption to read what was being said. Then she said, I agreed to it because it showed up on the screen when I paid for it. I told her, I did not know that I was supposed to look down and agree to what I was paying for when I asked how much it was. I don’t think that I have been this upset and felt like explaining my disability was so diminished. And I have never been one to use my hearing impairment as a crutch! People who know me, know this about myself! I’ve always been able to overcome it and worked hard to advocate for myself. She was so unwilling to listen to me and basically said it was all my fault and I ordered it. I feel it’s important for others to hear my story, people with disabilities aren’t all the same and others should not try to tell me what I can and can’t hear and question me on how I could hear her on the phone! She doesn’t know my daily struggles! I appreciate anyone taking the time to read this. But, they will never get my business back again! I know I’m just one person and she didn’t seem to care but at least I have my voice to speak my truth and experience. Thank you!

Ordered 2 Southern fried chicken salads and cheese garlic bread. Drove 20 min there to pick up and bring home to eat. Got home to find they forgot our free garlic bread and the chicken for the salads as we had it on the side to not melt the cheese. All I got was a sorry. I drove back the 20 min to get it and drove another 20 home. I asked if it was fresh chicken or the chicken from 40 min ago and I got “it was on the warmer”. Get home and the chicken was in 3 small containers for 2 salads so had to split it myself. Not happy with them and driving 80 min for $27 for salads is not worth it. Will not be ordering again.

My wife just brought home two Subs and what was supposed to be a Texas BBQ. The Subs had plenty of sauce on them but they barely put any sauce on the Texas BBQ. Is the BBQ sauce really that expensive that all you can put on a sandwich is barely a drizzle???

Took a little while for the food, and the teenagers at the register seemed a bit distracted. But once the food arrived, it was totally worth it. A bit on the pricey side, but honestly, the quality more than made up for it. Best sandwich I’ve had in a while.
