Arnie’s Barn offers Mexican inspired cuisine paired with magnificent views of the Cathedral of Nature below. To honor Arnold Palmer, the barn was transported from his hometown of Latrobe, Pennsylvania to its location today at Top of the Rock, where it was carefully reassembled by local Amish craftsmen. Please Note: Entry fees may apply to Top of the Rock for non-resort Guests. The entry gate is only able to accept credit cards. Top of the Rock general parking and complimentary shuttle are available from the Welcome Center. Valet parking is available for an additional fee.

Originally, we were not going to go to this restaurant because the reviews were not super high. However, because of the views, we went ahead and gave it a shot. We were blown away by not only the atmosphere, but the food and service. I highly recommend this place. We enjoyed A pickled bloody Mary, the fajitas, the rice bowl, as well as the salsa trio.
Kaydon was an excellent server as well.

We loved everything! The history of the 150 year old barn being moved from PA was very cool. Some of the beams were 100 years old when the original barn was built
The menu was well planned Tex/Mex entries placed in a clever salvage wooden folder. We both had the fish tacos (chouce of grilled or fried) and the awarding winning, signature lime cheesecake with tangy mango sauce.
Our waiter was TC, a delightful, charming, respectful young man finishing up college. TC made our meal. Ask for him when you visit! Tell him the 58 year married hikers from Michigan said HI!

Scenery is awesome! Food is fantastic. Chicken burger and tacos did not disappoint at all. Our waitress, Emily, was great! She was very attentive and her menu knowledge was great. Merry Christmas Emily! I hope you made good money today The picture was taken 1/2 way into our full stomachs. Oh yea, the sweet tea is right on !!!

We tried the queso appetizer – fantastic! Corn chowder was great! Chimichanga was packed with flavor and the rice was moist. Steak and chicken fajitas were perfect.

Had a good time at Arnie’s Barn after the golf cart tour at Top of the Rock. The cocktails and service were great, but the food was just good. We got the queso fundido, the birria quesatacos and the taco trio. You can intermix what proteins you want on the taco trio which was a great perk! Overall, Arnie’s Barn had decent food and excellent service from the waitstaff.

Definitely should have read the reviews before going. Since it’s literally a gigantic barn, I didn’t expect the cuisine to be fancy, expensive Mexican food. My son ordered the kid’s ground beef tacos but they were out of ground beef. Except someone else in our group ordered a taco salad with ground beef and they brought it? The food wasn’t great. I wouldn’t go back but the menu at the other restaurant (which was closed while we were there) looked more like what I’d expect so I’d try it.

If you are hungry and in the area, I would not recommend this restaurant. Was told wait was supposed to be 20 minutes, waited almost an hour. The queso tasted store bought and the service was abysmal. Drinks took almost 20 minutes after being seated. The location and ambiance is great!
