Armstrong Jazz House is hands down one of the best spots for live music in Coral Gables. The atmosphere is classy, intimate, and perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening out. The live jazz was absolutely incredible — talented musicians, great sound, and just the right volume so you can still enjoy conversation.
The cocktails were top-notch and the overall vibe felt upscale but welcoming at the same time. What really stood out, though, was the amazing hostess. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference.
If you’re looking for a true jazz experience with great service and ambiance, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back! ✨

If you’re looking for a truly authentic and memorable, charming, and fantastic real live jazz experience look no further. We didn’t know this place existed until we saw Alexa , the fabulous jazz singer on Monday and Tuesday. (you have to go those nights to see her) TikTok and Instagram post promoting this venue. The vibes were iconic, the mood was perfect, the music the decor and the staff were all on point. The food tasted delicious great portions and priced barely. If you’re a wine drinker, this place is for you, they have Sort of cocktails, but the wine is where it’s at. If you’re looking for a date night, a girls night, a boys night, or if you love flying solo, this would be the perfect location. Major shout out to Alexa for entertaining the crowd with her beautiful voice and Orlando for his fantastic saxophone skills.

Everyone here is so accommodating. When we asked to move inside to listen to the band they were so quick to help us get seated. Ruben and the general manager came around multiple times to check in with us. 🙂 Food was phenomenal and the atmosphere is just as lovely. Definitely recommend for a cute date night!

What a beautiful, magical hidden gem just 15 minutes outside of Miami. Not only is the ambiance & live music lovely, the food & team feel like a warm hug. When we go out for Jazz- we want an experience that feels special & transports us through time. Armstrong does all of that & more. Alfred, the owner is wonderful, the bartenders Alex & Thomas are top notch, & the servers Samuel, Hlieb & Kyo- truly work the space with such warmth and professionalism. Not to mention Arlene- who seems to do a bit of everything- is truly a Queen! When dining- I watched her keep everything running smoothly & was beyond impressed. Last but not least- Vanelly at the front door was the sweetest! The perfect friendly face to greet those just looking to unwind at a special Jazz House. Big thank you to the Armstrong team for such a warm welcome- see you again very soon ❤️

The cherry on top was the live band music. It was soulful, alive, and transporting. It filled the room in the best possible way. The sound quality was also top-notch. Even if you sit outside, you can still hear the band play as if you were inside, and see the band through the window.
The ambiance struck the perfect balance between cozy and romantic. The lighting was warm and intimate, and the chandeliers were an absolute standout. Elegant and inviting, casting a soft glow that made the entire space feel like walking into someone’s soul. Throughout the restaurant, inspirational quotes are placed thoughtfully around, adding a layer of depth and warmth that makes you pause, reflect, and appreciate the space even more.
The food was simply delicious. You can taste the care that goes into each plate. The drinks were well crafted. We also tried the tea, which comes into this beautiful set, and was a perfect end of the experience.

I was surprised on a date night here. Beautiful, intimate and great performers. Menu is small, which is ok, but my husband ordered his steak medium rare and it came medium well. Tasted yummy, just not rare enough. I ordered Salmon. It was delicious. After we sat it took about 6-8 minutes for someone to introduce themselves and about 10-12 minutes just to get some water. After that, she was great, very attentive. No liquor license so only wine based drinks, but they said they’re working on it. Might go back.

We came here for my dad’s birthday and had such a great experience! The vibes are very relaxing and the decor is so cool. Ruben took great care of us and even sang happy birthday! We had the pavlova, chicken tostones, jazzy chicken, and the skirt steak. Everything was delicious!
