Dined in and had the deep dish veggie option with ranch drizzle. Pizza was so good. Great portion sizes. Service was lovely and place was clean. Toppings were fresh and pizza was crafted with love. Will return.

First of all… Amazing service! The two girls that were there were kind, friendly and attentive. Gave recommendations and were super helpful to explain the menu.
Sunday is for sure the best day to come. The Detroit style pizza is absolutely delicious, the amount of cheese is gorgeous and the flavors are just perfect. The dough is crispy outside and fluffy and soft in the inside. They only have this one on Sundays so, keep that in mind.
The garlic knots are a must to wait, come with marinara and ranch sauce to dip in. Give them a try, won’t regret it.
They also have local beers, like walkerville. Very good options to choose.
There are 7 tables in the inside and two large ones in the outside.
I need to come back soon! My favorite pizza here so far! Worth the driving

Food as always great here. They completed our order within 5 mins of the time frame we were given.
The dining inside or outside is a nice touch.
Quality pizza as always

Ordered pizzas last night for dinner and opted to pick them up because it’s usually faster than delivery. I got home and realized that the order was incorrect so I called and explained and the manager was so kind he replaced the pizzas for us and had them delivered to us. The pizzas were amazing and we will definitely be back! Thank you!

I tried their Detroit style deep dish “Zio Peter”. It was beyond perfect. The fluff on the dough is outstanding. Everything else about it is perfect. Cheese is the perfect amount and the sauce was just right. 10/10

Heard about Armando’s from the show Still Standing and the hype didn’t disappoint! We tried their chicken wings with homemade hot sauce (the best wings I’ve ever had), pickle chips & two pizzas. Everything was delicious! Would love to try more items from their menu

We had pizza and garlic knots tonight and were disappointed in the flavor. It is very different and lacking. The service was great as usual but unfortunately it is not the same with ownership change.

A pleasant surprise! We went in to try a few summer specials and they were DELICIOUS! We went for the Deep Dish Sundays specifically. I was hesitant on the watermelon one (pictured) and it was a HIT! Out of 4 pizzas and 2 apps we ordered it was a fave. The owner was also really approachable. Coming from Windsor where it’s a 30min drive and weather was storming the food and atmosphere was excellent.

To say I love pizza is an understatement. Some have called me a bit of a pizza snob. I get it, yeah I just might be, but that’s ok. So, my wife and I recently moved to Amherstburg from the Halifax region of Nova Scotia, where we lived for the past 4 years in what I would call the pizza wasteland of Canada. Some Haligonians believe they have great pizza out there, not my experience. The only good ‘za we had in 4 years was a Margarita style from a food truck. That’s it. So when we were planning our move back to Ontario, and landed on the Windsor area, I started to research the local pizza places. I was happy to learn about the rich pizza culture, and couldn’t wait to dig in. Once we found our home in Amherstburg, we decided to start our pizza journey out here with Armando’s, and once trying Armando’s we have not found the need to try any other place. Tonight we had our first Professor’s Pizza, the Pepperoni Paradise, with one slight modification, the addition of green olives. I must, and I repeat, MUST have green olives on my ‘za!
The Pepperoni Paradise was fabulous!
I pick up all our ‘zas and I believe I’ve seen chef Dean in the back with his crew making ‘zas each time I’ve been in to pick up. You just know he loves what he does and it shows I what he and his team produce every time.
I’d like to explore more Windsor area pizza places, which I know I should, but hard to switch it up when one has found perfection.

Pretty bummed out that Armando’s doesn’t sell the loaded tater tots anymore and their ranch dressing has changed too… it’s not good, seems like they switched it to a lower quality store bought ranch.
The garlic knots were okay but definitely not covered in garlic butter.
