Had the worst chilaquiles ever. Tortillas were cold and soggy. I told them I was unsatisfied and they were bad and I wanted carne asada fries and they still charged me for them. Never coming back and not good food.

Love this little spot right off the freeway. Has that more classic Mexican feel without out trying to be too fancy. Just good old Mexican food with good prices, I dig the salsas, and burritos are big. I love the me a good hole in the wall kind of vibe place and this is it.

Ordered a breakfast burrito that was supposed to have eggs, cheese, beans and potatoes. I got a burrito with 90%potatoes and a small amount of eggs and cheese. No beans. Super disappointing, burrito was terrible.

07/23′ – 1st time here on Friday night. Friendly service and awesome food. Took order togo as the sit down dining option for us adults and 2 toddler kids weren’t the greatest option (you will know what I mean when you go there). Outside area has a homeless scenario that needs to be addressed. Carne asada fries were muy fuego, highly recommended. Bean & cheese burrito was also delight, it was real smooth refried beans. I will be back during my outings!

This place has a nice covered patio with cement and tile table units, the counter guy was professional and helpful, parking was easy and plentiful, and the red enchilada sauce was a nice slow burn, but that’s about all I can say that’s positive.
The shrimp in my taco were overcooked and then partially burnt black. Then rice was put on top of them. Not sure if that was to camouflage the burnt or what. A chunk of char was in one of the two tacos and my partner almost chipped their tooth. It was that hard. I thought it was a piece of a plastic kitchen tool! Tastewise, texture, smell, and looks were all meh. A bit below the standard for Mexican fast food restaurants. This was more like cafeteria food that’s made with the bulk sauces and beans that were on sale at Costco that week. Their food needs help, or one of the ‘berto’s restaurants needs to take them over and set it right.

My seafood burrito was excellent. The restaurant is simple, with a great outdoor patio, and of course combine that with classic San Diego, California weather. Perfect.

Authentic as you can get minus the flies. Great quality food with fresh ingredients and lower than average prices(example;Chimichanga$10.99, Monster Carne Asada Fries pictured$16.99 but worth it!). Located right off of I-5 on Mission road. Has become my go to mex spot.
