Menudo was delicious great taste, i had carne asada tacos they were ok. But menudo was amazing, good lemonade great ambiance and fast service. I recomend this place if youre wanting a menudo on a sat or sun.

I tried their shrimp cocktail, and it was delicious. I had the large portion, and it came with plenty of shrimp, full of flavor and ingredients. I have zero complaints about their food. The people at Armando’s are friendly and attentive.

I have tried their street tacos before, and those are fine. This review is only about their shrimp cocktail (Coctel de Camaron).

The place is falling apart, and it looks terrible from the outside. Then you enter the little shack and realize it looks the same inside.

The food is not consistent at the one on treadaway. There were days the food was good, some days had to much salt, and days they would get the order wrong. I ordered a child verde plate and they gave me meat with caldo. My coworker had picked up food so when I called back to tell them I didn’t get what I ordered. The owner got on the phone stating they didn’t sale a Chile verde plate(obviously not). Wanted me to take the plate back. I explained that I was at work. The owner basically said to bring the plate back or I can deal with it. Then hung up. What kind of service is this owner running?

BEST street tacos in Abilene! Their barbacoa tacos are amazing and really well priced! Plus if you eat in you get complimentary chips and salsa! Honestly everything on their menu that I have tried so far has been really good. Pretty a authentic Mexican food. (I grew up there) The staff is very friendly as well!

Solid lunch stop for sure. Good prices, great service, and great selection. Small and popular, so don’t get there late – or you won’t have a place to sit. Pretty good food, the street tacos were nice.
