the decor is fantastic and the place is clean and well kept, indicative of what happens in the kitchen. plenty of seating; ample.
the waitress was very nice and accommodating.
the food was very good with a couple minor setbacks.
the chicken and shami were spiced very well, and the rice was good. the bologna was different from the typical ones I’ve had before, but in a good way. it was thicker than other bologna but stuffed, instead of thick with bread.
the chicken was slightly overcooked making it a little dry. the chapli wasn’t spiced well, and the bologna tasted a little salty for my taste.
all in all a great experience and good prices. I even took a picture of some of the guests, who were ok with having their pix taken.

I recently visited this Afghan restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor — you can truly feel the authentic homemade taste and attention to detail. Portions were generous and everything was perfectly prepared.
I would especially like to highlight the excellent service — Yasamin and Nargis were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and has a great atmosphere.
Another big plus is the convenient parking, which made the visit stress-free.
Everything was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back again!

Arman Cafe & Market is a true hidden gem, offering some of the most authentic Afghan cuisine in Southern California. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Their menu is packed with flavorful classics — from the aromatic Kabuli Pulao and crispy Bolani to juicy Chapli Kabob and tender Mantu dumplings.

Don’t miss their rich, spiced chicken curry and melt-in-your-mouth lamb curry, both bursting with traditional flavors, or their comforting chicken soup, slow-simmered with herbs and spices. Pair your meal with fresh naan and a cup of fragrant Afghan chai for the perfect experience.

After dining, explore the adjoining market filled with Afghan spices, sweets, halal meats, and specialty groceries — everything you need to bring the taste of Afghanistan home. Arman Cafe & Market is more than a restaurant; it’s a warm, flavorful journey into Afghan culture and cuisine.

The food was freshly made, expect a longer wait time when they’re busy but they gave you soup to warm up your hungry stomach. As a non middle easterner, we enjoyed the food, flavor was not too strong and the rice was fluffy. If you want a quick fix, just do pizza.

the food here is Amazing and great quality and plates full of flavor I’ve eaten here so far atleast 4 times this month and I can’t get enough of it and the owners are very respectful and courteous came to greet us personally and assured us a great service. Also the setting is very nice they have a combination of both interior and exterior seating with aesthetics and waterfall and tv. Also connected to a store.

We had a very disappointing experience at Arman Cafe. We ordered qabuli, lamb tikka, and beef tikka. The beef in particular tasted old and had a very bad smell. It was not fresh and had an off taste that made us uncomfortable continuing to eat it.

As soon as we noticed the issue, we informed the server and explained that the meat tasted odd and smelled bad, and that we did not want it. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they were rude and dismissive. We were told that because we had already tried some of the food, they would not take it back or replace it.

We did not stop eating because we were full. we stopped because the meat did not seem fresh. Being refused a replacement and still charged in full for food that smelled and tasted spoiled is unacceptable.

We came expecting a fresh Afghan meal and left feeling disrespected and extremely disappointed. Food quality and customer service should be taken much more seriously.

Went in solo, ordered Chicken tikka side order and lamb tikka plate, the naan bread was amazing and fluffy while the lamb and chicken were perfect. They also gave some chicken soup completely complementary. Loved the food!!

I had an amazing experience at Arman Café. The customer service was outstanding, especially thanks to the two wonderful waitresses, Yasamin and Narges, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They truly made the visit special.

The food was absolutely delicious — Qabuli Palawo, Chalaw, and the kebabs were all cooked perfectly and full of authentic flavor. You can really taste the care and quality in every dish.

The atmosphere was warm, clean, and inviting, making it one of the best dining environments I’ve experienced.

I highly recommend Arman Café to anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and a comfortable, friendly environment. I’ll definitely be returning!

My husband and I were in the area and gave this place a try—we are very happy with our experience, especially him because of the quality of the meat. Although the menu was somewhat limited since they are still new, the food we ordered: Kabuli Palaw and Chapli Kabab was great. The Naan was perfect too and the server we had was working very hard to accommodate the many people eating the time we were here.
