We had a great time at Armadillo celebrating a friend’s birthday. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was really good. I had the burger and it was solid. Overall, a fun experience with good vibes—would definitely come back.

I don’t know if it was just a bad night or something. I hear a lot of people say oh my God it’s so good here. Let me tell you something if you have had a real Burger you know this ain’t the place. The Patty had no flavor whatsoever. The fries were like undercooked and pale on the flimsy side not golden or crispy. I ordered a 24-oz margarita and that was also not good. the flavor was good but there was no liquor in their. I did not get a slight Buzz at all it’s like I drank a slushie. It was just a weird food experience for me. Even the bacon tasted weird like they read deep-fried it to get it warm again it tasted like old oil or that weird flavor it gets. I really thought it was going to be awesome. Our waiter she was amazing though I forgot her name but she did everything perfectly fine. She was nice kind and attentive.

Average sports bar with fried food and burgers. Lots of huge TVs above the bar Service was OK prices were reasonable. Enjoyed my fried pickles. The 3lb burger we ordered to share was just a 3lb burger nothing special tasted rather bland. Bottom of bun was really soggy. Topped with plenty of bacon which helped with flavor. No choice of cheese just plain old easy singles American.
The Hienz ketchup bottle on the table opened with a pop and tasted a bit ripe.
Fries were not great. First batch was cold and tasted of oil. Second batch were a little better but really salty.

Yall….I’ve been a fan of Armadillos since I was little but always went to the other location. We went to this one on a Saturday a few weeks ago and I didn’t eat for the rest of the day after.
Service was eh (no biggie everyone has their off days), I received the wrong order but was not mad, then I open my chicken sandwich to put buffalo sauce and saw this little guy. My skin was CRAWLING! My mom took a bite out of her food and I told her to spit it out ASAP.
We pulled our waitress back over and showed her. She took the plate to show her manager, came back and said we were free to leave since we already said we didn’t want to eat there. No manager came to our table. We bounced and never looked back. RIP ☠️

We came after biking the Mission trail and were impressed with the food and service here. Awesome fried pickles and 1lb cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. NATALIE was our server and she was top notch. Thanks for taking such great care of us. We’ll be back again and again.

We absolutely love the wings from here. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years. We status get the full order of wings and a bacon cheese burger 1/3 lb with tater tots. I get a 32 Oz. Cold beer and my wife gets the strawberry margarita on the rocks. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting San Antonio.

It’s a decent local owned bar and grill. I like the place. It has a large assortment of drinks and a lot of space to bring the family. They have a giant burger that I have not had or seen ordered personally. I have had the burgers and they are good. Trying to convince the family to get the 3Lb burger. The nachos were good. this place is amazing. The food is great, the service was amazing. And the atmosphere is like Texas to me. This café reminds me of the town Armadillo in Red Dead Redemption.

This place has some good burgers and hotdogs. The service however was horrible. As a matter of fact, our waitress took our order and we didn’t see her again. Another waitress was bringing our food out and was intercepted by our waitress. She laid our spread on the table and asked if we needed anything. At that point, we were good. She didn’t come back to check and wasn’t seen again until i got up to ask for drink refills. Maybe management should hire more people to keep the waitresses from doing other duties and minding thier tables

Food is always good and priced fairly. We like to get the big burger and share. Love the boneless wings and bacon cheese fries w/ranch.
