Great food and friendly folks. Definitely has a south flavor its well seasoned. I tried the fish basket shrimp and fish with hush puppies and fries. We also tried the burger, It had a juicy patty and had a flamed taste. Great first time. I want to go back and chicken pasta the cashier told us about it and we are trying it next time.

Had some gift cards so decided to drive the distance and try this place out. It definitely makes a good first impression. The lady that greeted us immediately upon entering service throughout the time and was very cheerful. The food was all fried which neither of us had had in a long time so probably should try some of the other options next time. The food was plentiful and the prices for decent especially for dinner.

Popped in today for a to go order as I needed to get back to my job site. Super clean bright and fresh everywhere. The restaurant was fairly busy for its size. Had the Patty melt. The fries were amazing. Seasoned well crispy on the outside soft on the inside, just perfect. If I had any feedback at all I might say the Patty needed a touch more seasoning but I would really be nitpicking by saying that. 20 minutes order to door, and the Owner was kind enough to check in with me about my entire experience. I was happy to say and I repeat that I was well satisfied before I even got to taste my order.

This is NOT a slop, fast food joint. The Owner and staff actually care to prepare hot, fresh meals, and that was and will continue to be worth my time, and dollar, while in the area.

Everything was magnificent. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and seasoned fries. Best burger I’ve had in forever. I don’t even like the pork skins, but we had some at the table, and I tried them, and they were delicious. Great place to eat as a family. Small area outside to eat if you want. My daughter ordered the Lil shrimp basket and it was her favorite. Definitely recommend eating here. The people are really nice too.

It’s an unassuming place, but the food is delicious. The bacon grilled cheese and tomato basil soup is soooo good, it tastes homemade. The fried okra is good as well. The staff was pleasant and they’ll refill your drink before you leave if you ask.

The staff was friendly and polite, greeting me as I entered. I ordered a patty melt w/ fried okra (no drink included) and was shocked to hear it was $19.00! I ate my food and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, maybe not so much the price. Would definitely recommend, if your budget allows.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. We love the old fashioned soda shop feel to the restaurant. I can see our kids really liking this place. I had the Wednesday Special, jambalaya with two sides, coleslaw and green beans. My husband had the shrimp basket with fries and hushpuppies. We shared everything when the food got to the table. My lunch was phenomenal! The flavors were on point and portion size was great for the price. My husband thought his food was good. The fries and hushpuppies were amazing, but the fried shrimps were a little overcooked. He did love my food though and we’ll definitely be back again with the kids. Everything was hot and fresh, and well seasoned. Staff was superb, to the lady at the register and waitress. Please support local businesses/restaurants!

This place has the old country feel like back in the days where you do to the soda shop and have a rootbeer float. Very cool. I had the patty melt with Fries. The fries are cooked perfect with good seasoning. My son had the cheese burger with fries. My patty melt is good. I would say the bread needs to be cooked a little longer to a crisp. My sons burger he said was good. He thinks they need some more pepper and salt in the meat and he loved the fries too. Might need the seasoning from the fries on the burger. The staff is very friendly bubbly and awesome manners. Brings you the country feel. Love it.

I had a great experience here, the cafe was clean, quiet and I liked the country aesthetic. I had the fish po’boy and it was very scrumptious. The bread was fresh, the fish was crispy and flavorful. The fries were also very tasty. We will be back.

This place is right down the road. It’s really cute inside and clean a friend of mine ordered his food and went and picked it up and came to my house and ate it.. I took a bite of the french fries and did not like them. They were seasoned, but they were soft and more like a potato, not crunchy and light. I took a bite of the burger, and that was outstanding, juicy with onions and mustard and mayonnaise and Fixin‘s and that sweet bun just topped it off. I can’t wait to go and try something else because they have some interesting things on the menu plus they have ice cream and milkshakes. I think this is a little gem If they keep working on it, you all should go out and support him and Santa Fe. As always go check it out yourself. See you next time on the road again…….
