Lexington has a mask mandate but the staff inside did not seem to care and do not wear masks. The food was average. The price on appetizers are steep. Some of the appetizers cost more than main dishes which doesn’t make sense. 8 bucks for a small plate of samosas for a takeout place! Very steep compared to other Indian restaurant in the area

I ordered khutu parota to try out this new place. I was not impressed. I ordered mild spice but the food was so spicy I couldn’t eat beyond a few bites. There was also a big hard piece, which looked like stone in the dish. Needless to say the food straight went to garbage.

Ordered Chicken and Mutton biriyani for the first time over the phone to pickup myself (not third party delivery). In their printed menu, the price of those are $14.99 and $17.99 plus taxes respectively. When I paid while picking up, they charged me $15.99 and $19.99 plus taxes for those two items. Extra $3! Not sure, how they came up with that number out of the blue.

The best Apollo fish I have had after staying one year in Boston. Good seafood options adn they taste really well. Portions could’ve been little more for the price that is listed. But just a friendly suggestion for the restaurant guys…Please do not add whipped cream to Falooda. It is FALOODA it’s supposed to have any icecream on the top and not whipped cream guys please…I was hurt a little, very little but hurt.

Decided to try Arka as it just opened. Busy Sat night, looked like they still working out the kinks on everything, but a great sign at how busy it was. I ordered easily online, had a small (5 min) delay at pick up, but they have super comfortable chairs and sofas. Ordered chicken tikki masala and aloo ghobi, garlic naan. Pretty basic order for us, but a good baseline to measure against other restaurants. Mild spice on the chicken, ordered medium on the aloo ghobi. Was all fresh and delicious. Aloo ghobi was a bit past medium spice for me, but lots fresh veggies and not overloaded with potatoes as I have had elsewhere. Garlic naan was good, rice that came with entrees was plentiful and good quality. At $36, was in range to slightly cheaper than other restaurants in the area. A good price for a good amount of food and great quality. Give it a shot, it’s worth it.
