It was very good, omelettes were cooked great, not overdone or wet, soft and delicious. Very good coffee too. I had mushroom, tomato and onion omelette and my husband had peppers, onions, cheddar with salsa omelette.
They are serving Thanksgiving dinner there too, check out the menu.
The owner there is very nice, and so are the servers. A hidden gem family restaurant.

Leola and Lancaster County, you are indeed blessed to have this restaurant in your midst! We walked in and immediately felt ‘at home’. The welcome and service from Sarah was warm and friendly. We decided The Ark Diner is aptly named because it is the perfect place where folks should come to shelter together and enjoy the fare from this incredibly diverse menu! This bright and lively, remodel lends itself to starting out the day sunny side up and finishing after a long days work with a fabulous dinner. As for our dinner, we started with the ham and bean soup and it was everything we hoped it would be! Fresh, flavorful and bursting with farm fresh goodness. We followed with the twin stuffed peppers – just like grandma used to make, light, comforting and delicious! Would you believe we also then partook of the panacotta? We did! And we can recommend it too – highly! 🙂 Everything was outstanding and we are already trying to figure out how we can fit another visit into our last day in this wonderful town.
Do yourselves a favor and check out this gem in your midst! We will definitely make The Ark Diner our first stop next time we’re back this way!

Ark House Diner was the perfect start to our day exploring Amish country! Phillip had the beef chips and I had biscuits and gravy—both were delicious and hearty. The staff was so kind, offering great local tips on where to take a buggy ride and the best spots to shop. It was such a cozy, welcoming stop and a perfect break between loads. Highly recommend if you’re passing through Pennsylvania!

We called ahead for a party of 14 and were immediately accommodated. Our family was warmly greeted upon arrival – owner and wait staff are genuine and super nice. Patiently answered questions about the menu. I tried a bit of everyone’s food, and each dish was FANTASTIC. Large portions, quality ingredients, excellent flavor, and cooked fresh and hot. We were all very impressed! Beautiful and clean restaurant as well. We would highly recommend!

We have the Gyros and the Philly cheesesteak both of them were fantastic. I loved the hoagie roll! Jess was our server. She did a fantastic job she made us feel welcome from the moment that we walked in the door. She had a great attitude and a smile on her face the whole time. She made this experience wonderful! I highly recommend this place they have a large parking lot that can easily fit a trailer or an RV

A great little gem! The food was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend getting the fries! Tasted like the original fries from Wendy’s.

We had a delicious breakfast here. Service was attentive. Food was fresh and wonderful. The atmosphere was cool, very Noah’s ark. I would eat here again.

I got turkey filling gravy,mash potatoes and red beets. I could tell all was fresh and it tasted like a good home cooked meal The place is beautiful and has a lot of room. There is also a plus. Achenbach bakery is right next door through the small hallway. You can go get baked goods to take home for dessert while you’re waiting for your food to be prepared. I’ll definitely visit again. There is a second floor room that is available for special events.
