The most unassuming yet best tasting pizza I’ve had in North Carolina. As some who’s originally from New York, but has lived in the Kannapolis/Concord/China Grove area for 17+ years, Ari’s is second to none in the area. I didn’t expect it to set such a high bar, but I was pleasantly surprised. Perfect, flavorful crust. Not too soft and not too firm. A zesty sauce and cheese with a perfect pull. The perfect ratio of pepperoni cooked to the perfect level. Seriously. Can’t say enough about the flavor.

I’ve gotten from here several times and it’s always good quality. One man operation. I can only speak for the pizza as I have not had his other stuff. This is definitely york style. I ride through the area and i always get it to go. The crust is very thin but not cardboard crispy, nice blend of sauce and cheese. Good pricing. All around this is a very solid pizza joint in the salisbury area.

My wife and I came here on a recommendation, and we are so happy we did. The cheese steak sub is the best we have had outside of Philly. Great size as well, a full 12 inch sub just like you get in a Philly or New York pizza joint. The pizza is great well.

We’ve driven by this little hole in the wall pizza place countless times over the past few years and had no idea we had such an amazing pizza place right down the road. Although it’s in downtown China Grove, it’s somewhat hidden in a corner and is easy to miss. The only reason I saw it was because someone came walking out carrying a huge pizza box. After reading all the reviews about how delicious the food is, we decided to try Ari’s for the first time last night and were not disappointed. I was a little nervous to call and order based on some of the reviews, but the lady who answered the phone (and later helped us when we picked up the food) was exceedingly pleasant. We ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom, mozzarella sticks, and fried ravioli. The crust was perfection…thin, yet not too thin, and the crust was pillowy, chewy, and a little crunchy. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. The mozzarella sticks were the best we’ve ever eaten. The breading around the cheese was thin, light, and perfectly crispy and the cheese was still warm and stringy when we got home. The fried ravioli was so good too. The portions were generous, and you can tell the chef is extremely skilled and enjoys cooking good Italian food.
We’re ecstatic to have found such a delightful pizza restaurant so close to home and will definitely be back!
