First time here with my family, love the atmosphere, the food and excellent service! Our chef was Josh, he was amazing and did a great job with entertaining us, definitely recommend Arirang hibachi in mountainside NJ, we will definitely be returning soon.

We arrived around 4pm on Sunday with a party of 11. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes in the waiting area. Atmosphere is a cool vibe. We finally were seated and then waited another hour and 15 minutes for the cook to start at 7pm. The cook was amusing and kept the crowd engaged. The food portions were large. The food does not have the garlicky taste like the traditional Japanese restaurants have, but it was good though. Not sure if I will be returning. The wait was to long and I prefer the extra garlicky taste.

This was my first time there. I will say the food is was okay. In terms of flavor I likes benihana better, but with the quantity I will say you get more for your money at this place..the chef was amazing and very entertaining. Overall it was a good experience.

A typical sort of a cookie cutting Hibachi restaurant. We went for a birthday party for 25 people and we required two tables. First, had drinks at the bar. The bartender made us some Old Fashioned cocktails. They were not to our liking. Made fast and lacking the traditional ingredients. Too much water and ice. So unless you have beer and wine I wouldn’t recommend cocktails. We sat our table only when the last member arrived. The chef was entertaining and the food was good but, typical for a restaurant of this type. Menu is extensive. They do have children menu. They also have a large parking lot.

Highly recommend making reservations ahead of time. Having a reservation will make this a more pleasant experience. Great experience all around! The chef was entertaining, service was quick, staff was polite, and the wait was minimal.

Arirang is really about the show first and foremost, and it is really a fun experience. The food itself is okay: a little on the salty side and drowned in oil and soy sauce. More than enough food, so come very hungry or Plan on bringing some home. On the day we went, almost every table was celebrating a birthday. The staff had a neat approach with music and disco lights accompanying a staff member bringing out ice cream with a sparkly candle.

Despite a long wait, (expected for a Sunday night at 7) this feast was not only the most entertaining dinner experience of my life, but also absolutely delicious. Fabian, our chef, could have been a comedian on the side it was so funny! I was in tears laughing nearly the whole time. I would gladly come again for incredible food, and an unforgettable comedy experience that will surely be talked about for a long time in the future. Thank you!!! Props to Fabian!

I’ve been coming to this establishment for as long as they’ve been open I want to say it’s been 20 years. The food and service have always been great. I’ve started coming more often since the pandemic where there was strictly outdoor dining only that’s when I met the manager Rob and Marrisza the level of service and attentiveness has been top notch. I will admit I come now because of the service although the food is great too. Customer service is key it’s more important than having the best food. I come often because I know that Rob and Marrisza will be here to greet us.
