The service here is first-rate. The food is really good too, but you have to know what to order. Some things are better than others. The eel was excellent, but the tofu tempura tasted like zeppoles. We couldn’t figure out why they were so sweet. Still it’s a decent Japanese restaurant, and I always come back.

I eat sushi at least one e or twice a week. I have eaten at some of the best locations locally . I will say that this is the BEST SUSHI and freshest I have ever had!! You must go here to find out for yourself . I wish I lived closer to eat here and enjoy the food. Now I don’t want to eat at my local sushi locations. I ordered spicy tuna and 2 orders of shrimp steamed…. Incredible home made sauces!! Best ever

Big shrimps in the large Tempura dish, Sushi platter was amazing for the legit nigiri selection! Many maki rolls were covered in sauce, which seems to be a popular thing in US and Canada… Most people love it for the strong flavors, but I would recommend to not choose that type if you like fresh fish sushi concept.

Really nice and tiny place to eat Asian food. Not only sushi style, but also different types of food is baken here. The environment is nice and whole youngsters are around. Kind and respectful staff make this place better. Of course not like in Japan but kinda make you feel in there 🙂

We came in with a group of 6. The restaurant was not full at all, maybe 4 other tables. Maybe that should have been our first warning? Our food came out ENTIRELY at different times. By the time the last person received their food, the first person served had cold food. Every sweet potato received by the table was undercooked and starchy as if they battered a raw slice and tossed it in the fryer. If you get the udon soup, you get a just a single half slice of fish cake thin enough to almost see through. The photo included will capture before I tried anything. If you order nigiri, you have a half teaspoon of rice. For every server in there it must be their first serving job, maybe first job ever? A lot of eye rolling by our server. I appreciate a good eye rolling, but not over questions such as “can she have some silverware” and “hey, we ordered tea before our entree orders were taken.. may we have our tea?” This place has great reviews, what happened?!

Food did not taste good. I ordered the bimbimbap, lack taste but also take a look at how much meat was offered. Only about 1 spoonful of meat for $17 is crazy. ( Look at photo)
The ramen was a lot not good. soup tasted very oily but no taste somehow.
Also, waitress never came to serve me. A chef was waiting on me , friendly staff. Our waitress never came to us after taking our order — did not bring me the check either.

Unfortunately, nothing convinced. The seaweed salad was $6 and the portion was a joke, like a big spoon of seaweed salad and that was it. I ordered the vegetable Yakisoba but the veggies didn’t seem to be fully cooked and the whole dish was pretty flavorless and the same goes for my friend’s chicken teriyaki. We also were kinda half forgotten until one server asked if we had already gotten the food and was surprised that we hadn’t. I won’t come back.

It is hardly to say that this is a very nice Japanese restaurant. Here are few reasons: High Price, Low Quality(sashimi is not fresh/ some hairs in the roll) and bad service. I want to ask where is your Japanese craftsman spirit? I used to eat many different kinds of Japanese food all over the world(Asia, Europe and North America) But I have never experience such issue which happened in today.

Went here on a Saturday night with 2 of my friends, it was kinda busy so we gave our name and number to the hostess, and she said she would call us in 30-45 minutes. It had been 50 minutes with no call so we went back to the restaurant to see what the deal was. They basically lost our slip so they never called us. This was the first issue of the night. Then we eventually sat and ordered our food, our waitress wrote all of this down and told us that it would take a little while because it was busy. So we wait, and wait, and wait. I’d like to also add that the waitress never came to check in on us in between. We had to ask where our food was, our waitress, the one who took our order in the first place. It was 9pm at this point and we had been waiting an hour, she didn’t check up on us, and tried to act like it wasn’t her fault that our food never got placed. The kitchen was literally closed at this point so we ended up getting our food comped, honestly we should have gotten a gift card as well for this horrible service. The waitress was unbelievably incompetent and maybe it was her first day? Not sure but she was sooo bad that it was funny. She should not be a waitress. She had black hair and glasses. On the other hand, shoutout to the guy that made our sushi cause he did it so fast!! No hate to the restaurant owners or the sushi guy, but yeah check your waitresses/hostesses cause they don’t know what they are doing.
