We started with the hamachi, which was beautifully balanced with truffle-ponzu, jalapeño, wakame, cucumber, carrots, masago, and just the right touch of heat. The spicy edamame with chili garlic sauce was addictive and came out hot and perfectly seasoned.
For rolls, we ordered the Crunchy Joy (shrimp tempura, chopped crabstick, tempura flakes, topped with avocado, yellow chili sauce, and eel sauce), which had such a satisfying texture and flavor combo, and the spicy hamachi roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and well-executed without being overpowering.
One of the surprises of the night was the salmon burger with fries — genuinely so good. The salmon patty was juicy, the avocado portion was generous, and the dressing tied everything together really nicely.
We also tried their ramen, which is new to the menu, and it did not disappoint. The broth was deeply flavorful and comforting, with a soft-boiled egg, edamame, and mushrooms. You can tell a lot of thought went into it.
We finished with the biscoff cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal.
The restaurant itself is modern, clean, and inviting, with a lovely outdoor patio option as well. Overall, this place feels like a true neighborhood gem — great food, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I’ll definitely be returning.
Their behavior ruined the evening for everyone in our vicinity by creating a restless and intrusive atmosphere that made it impossible to relax.
The primary issue was their continuous filming and photography, which felt less like a meal and more like a disruptive production. These old women were so “into themselves” and their content that they completely ignored how uncomfortable they were making those around them, frequently catching other diners in the background of their videos. This constant movement and disregard for privacy felt highly disrespectful and out of place in such a high-quality establishment.
The owner clearly cares deeply about guest satisfaction; she handled our complaint professionally and moved them to another table so we could finally enjoy our meal. However, management should ensure that guests who want to take “influencer-style” photos do so only when the restaurant is empty or in a way that doesn’t infringe on others’ privacy. Because of the owner’s excellent service and the quality of the food, I am giving 5 stars, but I hope they prioritize the dining experience over those who disregard the comfort of others.
Furthermore, if these older careless women were invited by the restaurant to create content in exchange for free food, management must realize that allowing this type of behavior is extremely off-putting. Having “influencers” film so intrusively—especially when they show no regard for the privacy of paying customers—completely ruins the high-end ambiance. If the restaurant requires promotional content, it should be scheduled when the floor is empty or conducted in a private area to avoid disturbing the peace of other diners
We had the Crispy Sushi Crackers, Steamed Gyozas, Crazy Roll, Sweet Plantain Roll, and finished with the Biscoff cake… and wow. Everything was SO good. The flavors were on point and you can tell they really care about what they’re serving.
The steamed gyozas? By far the best I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. The crispy sushi crackers were insaneee. So unique and so flavorful. The Crazy Roll was delicious and the Sweet Plantain Roll was such a good combo — sweet but balanced. And the Biscoff cake… OMG. I’m still thinking about it.
But what really stood out was the service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The owner is such an amazing person and you can see how much she truly cares — about the food and about the customers. I watched how she interacted with other tables and it felt genuine. That kind of customer service is rare. The waitresses and all the staff in general are very considerated, friendly and hardworking.
If you love sushi and good vibes, go. You won’t regret it.
Service was friendly and the whole place has a relaxed vibe — perfect for a casual date or a quiet dinner. Definitely coming back!
Carolina and Natalia’s service was nothing short of exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had an amazing time. She made us feel like VIPs from start to finish.
And Alvis, the sushi chef, is a true artist. Every roll and dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, bold flavors. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite—this is sushi at its finest.
Between the outstanding service, superb food, and wonderful ambiance, Arigatai Sushi exceeded all expectations. We’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending this place to everyone we know!
