Taste wise it’s okay but look at the wrap size for amount of price they charging….I mean I want to be honest here they seriously need to work on their portion/size. Rest apart it’s a good tidy place also the girl in register is super nice.

I’m always a bit cautious about the meat in qabli palaw, but this dish was absolutely fantastic! The meat was perfectly cooked, and the palaw was so tasty. The mantu was delicious, the bolani was fantastic, and the torshi was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten!

⭐️ Craving satisfied, but with a few surprises.

We were in the mood for Afghan food and made the drive to Dallas, landing at this small, casual spot on Greenville Ave. Parking was limited—mostly suited for foot traffic—but luckily we found a spot right out front.

Arian Cuisine is set up more like a counter-service café: no table service here. You order at the register, picking from a wall menu, and the food arrives in about 20 minutes. I noticed with a smile that there were women chefs working in the kitchen—always encouraging to see.

We started with Bolani (potato-stuffed flatbread), but it didn’t quite hit the mark. Growing up in New York and trying Afghan food across the U.S. and recently in Toronto, I’ve had versions packed with deep flavor and filled with meats like chicken or beef. This version felt a bit underwhelming in comparison.

For mains, we tried:

• Chapli Kabob with Rice – Nicely seasoned with a smooth, enjoyable flavor.
• Shrimp Korma – This dish stole my heart. Rich, flavorful, and well-balanced.
• Chicken Kabob for the kids – Served with plain basmati rice (not the fragrant, spiced Afghan-style rice we were expecting), but my son loved the orange-hued chicken.

The Afghan bread was different from what I’m used to—more like a unique twist rather than traditional. The overall dining setup is no-frills, and you settle your bill at the register.

‍ ‍ ‍ The kids enjoyed the meal, and the experience was pleasant, even if some flavors didn’t quite match our expectations based on past Afghan food experiences.

Would we return? Possibly—for that shrimp korma and a quick bite with the family.

I absolutely loved the food at this Afghani traditional restaurant!
Every dish was rich with authentic flavor, especially the kabuli pulao and Chapli Kabab.
The naan was fresh and perfect, straight from the tandoor.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and eager to share their culture.
You can truly taste the passion in every bite.
I can’t wait to come back—highly recommended!

I recently visited this restaurant and had a pretty disappointing experience with the service at the front. The girl working there seemed very irritated from the moment we walked in. She had an angry expression, rolled her eyes, and even sighed when my friend asked a simple question. It made the whole interaction feel really uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

What also stood out was that she seemed rude to most of the male customers who came in as well. The only person she appeared polite to was one female customer. Because of that, it almost felt like she had something against the rest of us.

Customer service sets the tone for a restaurant, and unfortunately this experience really took away from the visit. I hope management looks into it, because guests should feel welcomed and respected when they come in.

I’m not Afghan, or muslim but I respect the culture, I grow up with Muslims in my Communityand I genuinely wanted to try the food. This was my second time trying Afghan-style food. I first tried the kebab place next door, then came here today. Before coming in, I read the reviews. The first review said the staff was friendly and the food was fresh. That was not my experience at all.

I told the girl at the counter that it was my first time there, and she didn’t guide me or explain anything. She barely responded. I ended up ordering chicken kebab with rice because that’s what I assumed was safe. The bread was not fresh, the rice had no flavor, and while the chicken itself had some flavor, the sauce was watery and tasteless. I ate a little and couldn’t finish it.

Maybe this is just my experience. Maybe I’m not familiar with Afghan food. But as a first-time customer, I expected some guidance at least being asked what kind of rice I wanted or if I needed any sides. Instead, I felt treated like I should already know the menu, which I didn’t.

This was my first time here, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The food was disappointing, the service was not friendly, and I regret spending my time and money at this place. For those reading the reviews, please don’t rely only on the positive ones. This was my honest experience.

Tried it for the first time and it’s probably become one of my favorite places in Dallas. The food is definitely made with a lot of love and priced reasonably. Highly recommend.

It’s just amazing Afghani food I ever had in the USA. Best Afghani paloa and chapli kabob. Also, you must try their homemade yogurt. Everything is made fresh when you order and taste superb. I will definitely recommend all the Afghani and peshawari food lovers to visit them. Shout to brother Raham.

The best Afghan restaurant to have opened in the DFW area so far. I have tried 2-3 other Afghan locations and I can say that the food here is more authentic, diverse, fresh, and flavorful. The owner has always wanted to open a restaurant, so please come support this small Afghan family and their new business. The best way is to order takeout but they have small seating areas if you wanted to stop by and dine-in. Prices are very reasonable for the location ranging from $4-15 max. You won’t be disappointed!
