I was part of a group of 4 that stopped in early on a Friday evening after leaving Allstate Arena. Although it’s a small restaurant, Ari is very comfortable and welcoming. The staff greeted us and sat us right away. The menu is very comprehensive and includes lots of great options. Even though you are given a menu when seated, there are photos all around the walls of Ari showing the different dishes that they offer. That was a nice touch.
Everything we had was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the tastes melded together wonderfully and it was all prepared with precision. We had several different maki rolls, nigiri and a great truffle tuna special. It was all so good, we kept ordering more. The Ari team was great with us. I would definitely recommend checking it out. It’s a small gem!

I’ve walked past this little sushi place many times, and although it looks very simple from the outside, inside it is surprisingly cozy. The staff were very friendly, they greeted us right away, seated us quickly, and brought menus without any delay.
There were three of us, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The menu is quite diverse, and I loved that the walls have photos of every dish, which makes choosing much easier. The fish was extremely fresh and delicious, and the sushi were fantastic. My absolute favorites were the Crunchy Melt with cheese and the Caterpillar roll topped with fish roe, just wow. I usually do not like soy sauce because it is often too salty, but here it was surprisingly well balanced and I actually enjoyed it. The Tuna and Avocado salad was also delicious and made a perfect starter. The chefs in the kitchen are very kind, very polite, and truly masters of their craft.
For three people, four sushi rolls and a salad were more than enough. The portions are generous, and we left absolutely full. Overall it was a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back.

From Minnesota travel to Chicago. Random search for sushi, we found Ari sushi. They made sushi rolls very delicious and flavor. Sashimi very fresh. Specially is ginger i thing they make their own ginger. Very fresh, sweet, not spicy. Recommend to try Ari sushi when in Chicago. I will come back Ari sushi when I visit Chicago again. Also they service very good.

I cannot emphasize enough how fresh the food is here. I was very impressed with the freshness, the food quality, and the taste. This should be a five star restaurant across the board. It’s a very casual atmosphere, but the food is top-notch.

Came here for a birthday dinner on Tuesday evening. The restaurant was well lit, there is ample parking in front and the decor was welcoming. Once inside we were greeted by the staff and seated right away. The menus are clear, and there are pictures of the different selections on the walls. We got the coconut shrimp, crunchy melt, golden lobster and Chef Supreme. The coconut shrimp was crunchy, tasty and I wish there were more in the order. The crunchy melt was a surprising favorite . Loved everything about the Chef Supreme, I’d gladly have it all again. Side note, I appreciate the extra dressing in my salad . The soup was tasty as well. Had a highball and it was delicious. The interior of the restaurant was clean, bright, welcoming and the staff were all amazing. They checked on us and made sure everything was good. Made us feel welcome. I will visit again when in the area, it was such a great experience.

i ordered a whole bunch of stuff for me and my boyfriend to have a picnic (it’s national boyfriend day october 3) and he is very picky about sushi. i drove 45 minutes here and back i do wish it was closer to me but it was so worth it and i’m so thankful for that because if the drive wasn’t worth it i would’ve been pretty upset. he only really likes sushi from one place so we only go there but the ratings here were so good i figured i’d try it out! i ended up spending $95 but i got a bunch of food and we both got decently full from it all. we started with three appetizers- octopus sokonomo- which we both liked, the shrimp tempura which had veggies too- we don’t usually eat fried food but i didn’t know tempura meant fried- totally my bad, but regardless it was still pretty good and it was very lightly battered so we were pleased by that. our third appetizer was the cucumber and cilantro salad which was refreshing and very healthy i surprisingly loved it even though it didn’t look like much at first. then we had a bunch of maki- the angry mango which was my absolute favorite! the strawberries and mango and diced jalapeño was perfect and not too spicy!! i believe there was some type of cavier or eggs of some sort on top which i’ve never had but was pleasantly surprised with the texture it added. then we had the shrimp and avocado which was definitely more basic but it did taste super fresh compared to other places. then the spicy octopus maki was very yummy and not too spicy. that was one of my top favorites. the sweet potato tempura was pretty good he wasn’t the biggest fan but i did really like it i just probably wouldn’t get it again because- (again i didn’t know tempura meant fried and that’s my fault) and we ended with the salad maki. i wasn’t the biggest fan at first but as i kept eating more i actually really loved it and will definitely get it again. overall we really enjoyed everything the flavors, presentation, and freshness was magnificent. my boyfriend was a little bummed out when he found out how much i spent on it all but it wasn’t a big deal to me. five stars! they also do accept apple pay which is what i paid and tipped with. 5⭐️

This is some of the best sushi in the suburbs. I’m definitely a sushi snob after going to Japan multiple times but this did not disappoint. The zuke salmon (from the Ari signature nigiri) was one of the best bites of nigiri I’ve had. The smoky maki and the Ari maki were also amazing. The fish is so fresh.
The service is great and the ambiance is very nice as well. Definitely recommend!
