I love empanadas and try them all around the country when I see one. While these empanadas were good I can’t say they were great. The combination of deferent and unique empanadas was cool but some were ok. The gaucho corn was amazing though. The person working was amazing and friendly and the place was pretty unique. Loved the concept and will try one more time and see if I like the other ones. While they don’t always have all of the ones on the menu I learned when they told me they where only serving what was on the hand written board I’ll have to probably call and ask before hand. There is no place to sit so you have to eat in your car or take with you

I went on a Sunday. I don’t know if they make the empanadas fresh and sell them as they come out or if they always make them in advance and sell them to you cold or reheated. It was my first time visiting, so I tried four different ones plus a desert empanada. I opted to get them heated before leaving. I kinda wish I would have taken them cold and reheated it myself, because they had a lot of burning from reheating the edges were black in a lot of places and they tasted burnt in a lot of places, it kind of took away from the flavors of the actual empanadas. I was looking forward to the pastry part as much as the filling, and most of it just tasted burnt after it was reheated. I was disappointed. I don’t like burnt food. I’ve had empanadas in Colorado and they were amazing, but much tinier than the ones I got here. I was excited and looking forward to them, they were bigger here than I expected and looked amazing in the case. I think if I go back, I will take them cold, instead and just nuke them in the microwave instead.
Edit: Thank you for your reply, however they were in fact burnt on the edges. If it were just looks, they wouldn’t have also tasted burnt. The burnt taste was very strong. Especially on my dessert empanada. There were areas that were dark, almost black. Pictures added. Comparing them to other reviews, mine definitely look more burnt than other people’s were.

This adorable storefront/food truck serves up the absolute best empanadas. I have been trying their delicous food for several years, and love each new creation. It has been an honor seeing them grow into the local success they have become. Carolina and Chad are the friendliest owners, and are extremely passionate about what they do. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Hand made empanadas that are prepped hot in the oven right when you order.
They had just the right amount of crunch with a shell that doesn’t break messy even after you cut it in half.
I absolutely recommend giving it a try if your looking for something new to try in Clifton Square.
P.S. Chad is extremely knowledgable about his product and just gives amazing service with a smile!

Genuinly amazing. I’ve had the empanadas on their food truck and now at their physical location. I have yet to have a bad flavor. I love the Tango Beef and Gaucho Corn. The chimichurri ranch sauce is the bomb. Prices are great! Service was a bit slow, but honestly it doesn’t matter because the food is so good. HIGHLY recomend to anyone in Wichita for lunch! I will be back as I need the chorizo Mac empanada.

We love Argentina’s Empanadas so much. Visiting the storefront is always on our list, but last night we ordered from the catering menu. I was so impressed with the delivery, everything perfectly heated. The empanadas were all delicious as usual, but the sides were also next level. We ordered the potatoes, mac and cheese and rice! I would highly recommend that anyone consider this for your catering needs.

First time visiting the new place in Clifton Square- very cute little shop and big selection of empanadas. Gaucho corn is our number one favorite- I have to have a fork bc I’m going to finish every last bite. We also got ham and cheese (very cheesy!) and the Korean beef that tasted like Korean stir fry in an empanada.
Look forward to coming back and trying more flavors. Never had one I didn’t like.
One note- the Apple maps directions lead us to the middle building in Clifton Square, which is Papa’s. AE is behind Ziggy’s in a little blue house.
