Had an incredible dinner at Arezzo Ristorante over the weekend. The Trofie al Pesto was a standout, the homemade pasta had that perfect, fresh bite you can only get from a kitchen that knows what they’re doing. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the basil pesto was bright and aromatic. If you’re looking for authentic Italian in Westport with a beautiful atmosphere, this is it!

My wife and I came here for valentines day dinner and overall, it was pretty good. We didn’t know it was prefix for the holiday, but the options were good. I greatly enjoyed the lobster bisque and the short rib risotto. The location is beautiful and spacious- right on the water! The only issue we saw was in the service process. For 2 of the 3 courses, either my wife or I received the wrong dish. The staff quickly corrected the issue each time and were gracious about the error, but from what we could see, there were only two waiters for the entire restaurant and a large number of food runners, which was bound to result in some communication errors without tight systems in place. Overall take – good, not great, but if they harden some of the service processes, it can only get better.

We just had the most delightful experience at Arezzo Restaurant in Westport. We sat river side watching the swans and kayaks. It is, by far, the most beautiful water view in the Westport area. Tables are spaced far apart with umbrellas that the staff adjusted to our liking. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. We shared a starter of Burrata with heirloom tomatoes served over pesto which was easily enough for 2. We had 2 pasta dishes: Orecchiette with sausage and broccolini and Rigatoni All’amatriciana (pancetta, pecorino, tomato sauce). Both were handsomely served, ample and delicious. The espresso was robust and smooth. We can’t wait to go back.

We chose Arezzo Ristorante in Westport as the site of a baby shower December 6.
Vinicio and his staff could not have been any more pleasant, helpful and efficient.
The 2 salads and 5 entrees were delicious. Almost every guest complimented the food, service and staff.
We enjoyed this day immensely. I would recommend Arezzo to anyone who sought fine dining and exceptional catering.

We hosted our small wedding ceremony and reception at Arezzo Ristorante and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff took care of every detail with warmth and professionalism, making the entire experience stress-free and memorable. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was authentic and delicious—our guests are still raving about it! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day. Thank you to Vinicio for coordinating the most perfect event! **Scenic Views, Invisible Service**
Yes, the waterfront setting is lovely — as several other reviews have already mentioned, the ambiance gets high marks. But that’s where the praise ends.
The moment we sat down at our large table, it was as if we activated an invisibility cloak. Not a single member of the wait staff seemed to notice our existence. We waited over 20 minutes just for the customary Italian bread, and nearly 45 minutes for our food. When we gently inquired, the waiter did arrive — not with food, but with an unsolicited debate, insisting that we weren’t waiting as long as we imagined. (Spoiler: we were.)
To be fair, the food itself wasn’t bad. But even the best pasta can’t make up for feeling like a ghost at your own table. Sadly, we won’t be returning. The view may be nice, but next time, we’ll take our appetite — and our visibility — elsewhere.
