While the service was good and atmosphere was fine, the food in particular was a considerable let down.
Although the presentation looked good, everything we ordered was egregiously unseasoned. There was also a lack of any sauce options. The blandness was notable across our whole parties dishes. For the price we paid, there was nothing special that warranted it.
Our guacamole only tasted like avocados and we had to add lime and salt from the other dishes to make it taste like anything. The meat dishes had no sauce or seasoning. Only one dish had any type of salt whatsoever.
Sadly, while our party admitted it would be less authentic, we also agreed that taco bell would have been a more enjoyable experience.
My husband asked if they could sing happy birthday to me and she said she would see if anyone would try to sing with her and was able to round up 3 other people and they did sing, she even put a candle on my tres leche. Great customer service, food was great .Really do recommend.
We walked in around 530 on a Friday night and the restaurant appeared to be quiet. However, as we were seated at our table we could see that it was busier than it initially looked.
The food was exactly what we were looking for. It wasn’t too expensive (part of what we got was also on happy hour) and it was very flavorful. Furthermore, the food arrived quickly after the order was placed and arrive hot. I love when food arrives hot.
The restaurant itself had a fun and clean atmosphere/ambiance. I was there with family but could also see going there with a partner too.
We walked there so idk about parking. There was some street parking in front of the restaurant and maybe some more in the back but I am not sure
The service was a bit slow for being a not very busy lunch.

We came here after a change of plans and were honestly trying to give it a fair shot. The place looked promising — sleek booths, polished menus, and a calm, upscale vibe.
The name had us expecting a focus on arepas and empanadas, but a heads-up: empanadas are only served from 11 AM to 2 PM. That detail’s in small print, but it changes the game if that’s what you’re coming for.
We started to settle in and ordered drinks.
Our server, Anthony, was genuinely great — friendly, helpful, and the highlight of the experience.
But then one of my friends picked up her shot glass and froze.
Inside were tiny black fruit flies, just floating like they’d pulled up with us.
Whole mood changed. Quiet table. Check closed.
We left.

Pro tip:
If you’re set on trying Arepazo, go during lunch hours to catch the full menu.
And give that glassware a look — just in case.
