Went around 0930 on a Friday, only handful of customers. Order steak n cheese and a side of Mac n cheese.. Well, well.. had to take that food back. Disappointed for sure.. They wrap the sandwich in paper (basically the paper ate my whole sandwich) Paper was stuck on the cheese n steak and bread was soggy. Mac and cheese looked good but that was deceiving.. Its like the box Velveeta Mac n cheese just added more cheese.. It was giving family owned spot, its giving, let’s do the minimal and save money, it’s giving, f these customers.. They need to maybe do some more training with the chef or re do they menu.. Other than that I give two stars because at least they trying!

Ardmore Carry Out catered our teams’ football homecoming event and they did a phenomenal job. I pride myself on excellent customer service and they more than exceeded my expectations. They provided sandwiches for the players a few hours before the game as well. They all came individually packaged and labeled which was perfect, so there was no guessing games involved. In addition the food for guests post game was delivered on time, hot, well packaged and ready to serve. They provided tons of condiments as well which was a plus. I highly recommend you utilize them for your catering needs in the future.

Thanksgiving Update:
I just picked up some of the additions to our Thanksgiving table from Ardmore carryout…..
And yes I had to do a quick taste test.
The brisket is incredible and the oyster stuffing, which is a southern Maryland specialty, brings back memories of my Great Aunt Eulalia from Leonardtown, MD and her many recipes for Thanksgiving.
Maybe next year, Ardmore Carry Out could try her Maryland Stuffed Ham?

Sometimes on Saturdays when I’m out early, maybe taking my daughter to work, or just running errands, I’ll stop by the carryout and pick up breakfast for my bride.
I always enjoy seeing the staff and the patrons as well. I try to say hello to everybody and just share a happy moment. The staff and patrons are usually of good humor, sharing a laugh or a story in various dialects and language, very representative of our diverse community..it is a happy place with good vibes only…and my experiences at this family owned local establishment have been nothing but top notch.
The food is just straight up, stick to your ribs, down home cooking. This type of cuisine is getting harder and harder to find in our chain restaurant and self storage unit dominated area in which we live.
When I get home, my bride is always pleasently surprised with the treats I have brought her from Ardmore carry out. She enjoys the grits which are absolutely fabulous and who could say no to a hardy plate of cream chipped beef. All of which is paired with a perfect cup of hot coffee.
I honestly wish I could get down to the carry out more often. The establishment is very much representative of the locale and the community that I am so proud to be a part of…
I do hope folks are able to, at some point drive out US Route 50, and enjoy Ardmore carry out.

Ordered using Uber Eats. Food was done fast. I don’t think any of my food was fresh except the sausage link. The picture speaks for itself. Home fries not in the picture but they smelled like juice from collard greens and they looked just like the corn beef hash and pancakes in the picture.

Food was cold and horrible. After feeding my kid a breakfast sandwich she had an allergic reaction to beacon & egg which she’s been eating all her life. Considering the staff is a complete different demographic than the customers they serve, I imagine the food is cook with some extra love & HATE. Y’all be careful eating from these establishments where the people cooking your food doesn’t identify with you.
