Lots of people using the inside as a picnic area. Outside food at half the tables which is a health code violation. Staff didnt care.

Chips were well overcooked. Long wait with no line. No place to sit inside. The line was longer at tables waiting for people to stand up than to get food.
The pizza and macaroni looked really good. I instead got a grilled chicken, which was a rich dry, but still pretty good. They didn’t give us the cool cup with the zookeeper kids meal. The cheese burger was cold by the time we got to eat it.
Way overpriced, staff was mostly unconcerned with being there, but a few were.

Rating 4 stars only because my expectations were so low to begin but it was pleasantly better then I expected. Was there during wild lights so limited menu but tasty stuff and it nearly as over priced as other zoos. Friendly staff. I mean it’s still cafeteria food but pretty decent.

Soup was good. Veggie burger was not that good. Fries were a bit raw. Pricey too. Very average food

The staff is polite and patient. Prices are high but not entirely unreasonable. The tables and floors were clean with plenty of outdoor seating. Indoor seating had a bit less of a capacity.

The food is very tasty, the kids meals are actually a bit big for small kids and just right, portion wise, for older kids. The line for coffee can be quite long, so it’s best to know what you want before you get to the barista.

Great selection and very fresh and quality food. Prices are to be expected for a zoo. Fountain drink cups don’t have lids or straws unless you buy the plastic reusable cup. The staff is very friendly and the tables are always nice and clean.

My boyfriend and I both ordered a burger with fries and it was horrible. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t expecting to be amazed by a cafe in the zoo…but 1 burger with fries and a drink costs $14…I expected somewhat decent quality. The burger and fries were both cold and tasted like they had been sitting all day. Cheese not even melted on the cold burger and the fries tasted like cardboard

The food is good, everything is super expensive, the cheesy drink is $3 + change. A salad, drink and kid meal was $20.
The salad was tasty, hand tossed with fresh ingredients.
We went after the noon time rush and apparently the workers were done with the day. The slowest service I’ve had in a while. One more managerial type guy was able to move things along to make it tolerable. I quickly realized the food I was waiting for was already made, the wait was just for fun I guess.
The price alone is punishment for not being organized enough to throw some PB&J together.

Everything is about a dollar more than you would expect to pay elsewhere, so be prepared for that. The food is basic American fare: burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, pep pizza slices. Some nicer options include soup, salad, and sandwiches. A la carte options include fruit cups or fruit and cheese at $4.49. Lines tend to be long and slow, but the facilities are well maintained for the volume of traffic. Recommendations: the chicken fingers meal is much better quality than the kid nuggets meal. Best soups are the vegan black bean and the chicken cheese tortilla–they’re great together, too. I’d pass on the mac ‘n’ cheese as the canned cheese sauce leaves much to be desired. Bring wipes. Have someone stake out a seat (or claim one with a coat) while you wait in line.

Employees were unfocused and food wasn’t worth the price. When I asked for a hot dog without the bun (due to a gluten allergy) I watched the employee take an already made hot dog and take the bun off. Then when we were getting the drink that came with a kids meal we told another employee what drink we wanted. He was talking and laughing with another employee and had to ask what we wanted again because he didn’t pay attention the first time. It took three minutes to get our drink even though we were the only ones in line.

The staff is always polite. The food’s not bad for the price but it’s usually busy. Overall it’s not that bad of a place specially in the middle of the zoo
