This was my first time trying ARCOS Cucina + Bar, and it made a great first impression. The food was genuinely good, well prepared, and nicely presented. We tried a variety of dishes—from a crispy, well-balanced salad, to a hearty chicken entrée with vegetables and mashed potatoes, a solid burger with fries, and a dessert that was rich without being overly sweet. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully done.

Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. The space itself is modern, clean, and comfortable, and I really appreciated how well-maintained everything was—including the restrooms, which isn’t always a given in the area. Overall, a great first visit with good food and service, and I’d definitely come back.

We visited this restaurant and were absolutely delighted! The interior is stylish yet understated — everything is thoughtfully designed without unnecessary flashiness. The atmosphere makes you feel calm, relaxed, and comfortable, as if you’ve come to a place where you’re truly welcome.

The service deserves special mention — attentive, polite, and friendly. The staff are always nearby when you need them, but never intrusive. Our order was served quickly, and we didn’t have to wait long, which was a pleasant surprise.

The food was simply outstanding! Everything was clearly made from fresh ingredients, cooked with love and great taste. The portions were generous, the presentation beautiful, and the aromas so tempting that you immediately want to try everything on the menu. You can tell the chef and the team put real passion and care into every dish.

Overall, this place left a very positive impression. It’s the kind of restaurant where you want to stay a little longer, enjoy the atmosphere, and savor every bite. It was my first time here but I had heard all good things about it! The hype is real. I made a reservation for New Year’s Eve and, of course, the place was jammed. Our server – I think his name was Charlie – was attentive and quick! He also made me laugh a few times, which I love. The food was spectacular… I started with calamari, added a special menu item salad (kale, spinach, carrots, beets, walnuts, almonds, and feta), and then had short ribs (with parmesan risotto and Brussels sprouts). All.delicious! I will definitely return.

I had the chicken parm with bolognese sauce and it was so good the only reason I gave 4 stars is the pasta was a lil hard. The bread and butter were amazing!!!! Our waitress Makayla was great!!! She recommended the bolognese sauce. The drinks were good. I felt a lil crowed I felt the tables were to close. This was my first time there!!!

I’m so happy we chose Arcos to celebrate my husband’s 36th birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hellos and made to feel right at home. We started with the special baked scallops and the tuna tartare on house chips—both were outstanding. The braised short ribs with risotto were incredibly rich and comforting, and the Kona-crusted sirloin was topped with the most wonderful Gorgonzola butter.

Mark, one of the owners, is truly top-notch and surprised us with a few special cocktails that weren’t even on the menu, which made the night feel extra special. Michael, our server, was such a delight—calm, cool, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained the specials beautifully and offered thoughtful insight into his personal favorites. An exceptional experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to return.

Okay so we have had takeout here a few times. But this is the first time of us eating in the restaurant. While good, the experience was something not typical in a good way
We arrived with a reservation at 8 PM on Friday and they were beyond busy. So that’s the first thing. Make a reservation a day in advance.
Right when we arrived we were seated. The hostess and the server were both very attentive to the table, even more than most restaurants. All the Italian items are crafted like they would be in Italy.
For myself, i got the Chicken Parm but with the penne. It was downright flavorful, cooked perfectly, and everything you would expect for a high end Italian restaurant.
The only thing is to expect to pay Boston Italian restaurant prices compared to suburban restaurant prices. But aside from that, give this spot a try. Its only been open for a few months, and I’ll be back for sure.

We had an outstanding dinner and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Michael took care of us and truly made the night special. He was welcoming, attentive, and switched effortlessly between English and Spanish, which we really appreciated. Everything arrived at the perfect pace, and he made sure we had exactly what we needed without ever feeling rushed.

The food was phenomenal — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From start to finish, it felt like a place that takes pride in every detail.

The setting is ideal for couples. It isn’t too loud and it isn’t overly quiet, so it’s easy to relax, talk, and enjoy each other’s company. For anyone planning a first date or a special night out, this is a wonderful choice.

Highly recommend, and we’ll absolutely be coming back.

Outstanding in every way…warm reception by hostess Kylie and owner Mark. Impeccable service from Ivan and returned one week later because we had such wonderful food and amazing service. Lori served us and again….impeccable service. The food is always served HOT, large portions, and wonderful specials every day. And a great wine list. The restaurant is so lively and enjoyable. We dined at 7:30pm the first time and the restaurant was full…short wait and both Mark and Ivan apologized for the wait….we dined at 5:30 the second time and it was a bit quieter but by the time we left the restaurant was full. Thank you everyone!

Arcos is absolutely our fave place by far!
The food quality is excellent and very consistent. Their chicken marsala and chicken parm cannot be beat.
Also, we love their tuna tartare appetizer with their homemade chips! We cannot say enough good things about Arcos. It’s a very special place!
The atmosphere is just lovely too!

Very good new restaurant in downtown Hopkinton! Everything we ordered was just delicious! Arcos serves Mediterranean food, everything from Italian to Portuguese to Spanish, etc… I was with a party of four and we all really enjoyed everything! The service was really good, too! If I had to nitpick and say one thing in terms of constructive criticism (and this is literally the only one thing I could think of), I would say that my filet mignon was a bit overly smothered in the accompanying mushroom sauce. Both the sauce and the filet were very good (good cut of meat!) but the sauce was a little too heavy to completely cover the filet with it. They should consider putting it on the side. I think many people would agree that a sauce, especially a heavier sauce like a mushroom sauce, is better suited on the side with a filet. This way it avoids making the filet look a bit like pot roast when served ( which was first thing I thought of when I saw it) and it looks and tastes more flavorful and elegant. The flavor of the steak itself should be the star, and the sauce should just be a flavorful addition, but not overwhelm the flavor of the steak. I did eat my whole filet though, and it was still tasty! BUT, that being said: considering this place has only been open for a week or two at most, I would say they are on their way to greatness! Overall, everything was absolutely wonderful. My husband said his Bolognese was fabulous, and the other two people in our party said their dinners were delicious! All of our appetizers were so yummy, and the drinks were spot on! This place is already very good, and I think they are on their way to becoming even better! This is an absolutely wonderful and much needed addition to Hopkinton’s restaurant scene. I will most definitely be back!! Kudos to you, Arcos! 🙂
