I was craving a hamburger, and I like to support small businesses, so I decided to dine at this hole-in-the-wall hamburger/hot dog joint.
The place is extremely small, and I think most of their business is from to go orders, since there are only 3 tables. To order, you fill out a form choosing either a hamburger or a hot dog, then the toppings and sides. It cuts down on mistakes and service related expenses. Unfortunately, drink prices are not posted anywhere we could find, which bothered me. The sanitation rating is a 100% at the time of our visit, which is outstanding.
We ordered 2 hamburgers, single patty, no cheese, and 2 drinks, and it came out to over $21. Man, prices have really gone up. I knew they serve smashed burgers, and I am very familiar with the style of hamburger. However, when they brought it to us, it was a wafer, not a smashed patty. I could have put it through my printer at home and used it for paper. My boyfriend and I wanted lunch, but we only got a snack.
I am not sure if the person “smashing” the patties is super strong, or if that is really how they want them to come out, but I would have preferred a patty that was thicker than 1/4 in. (Yes, I carry a measuring tape in my purse). The order of fries we shared was good, but the hamburgers did not fill us up at all.
The place is cute, but a bit claustrophobic during winter.

First Time Trying and Absolutely loved it! We order a chili cheese hotdog, chili cheese fries, and a smash burger. The chili taste homemade. The hotdog buns are toasted! The price was crazy reasonable compared to quality and amount of food given! The customer service was top notch as well! We will be back!

Went there for lunch. Absolutely great atmosphere and service was fast. Everybody was smiling, especially the little shorter girl running the food out. The food, perfect. Ordered the single with cheese lettuce, tomato, onions mayo and ketchup and the ocra with their spicy mayo dipping sauce. That ocra was piping hot and the spicy mayo gave it the perfect flavor. 10/10 will definitely be back alot more!

Worth every single bite – Delicious from start to finish! The seating area under the arch is so adorable! I had the pimento cheeseburger with fried okra, and it was amazing! The burger was juicy with the perfect crispy edges, and that creamy pimento cheese just took it to another level. The okra was hot, crunchy, and perfectly fried — you can tell everything’s made fresh. The service was quick and friendly, and the whole place has a great local vibe.
Definitely one of my new favorite burger spots!

Exactly what you want in a burger joint. No frills but great food. Fill out your order, hand it in and wait for them to call your name! I have a burger and a dog. Both hit the spot! I will eat here again if I am in the area. I ate the hot dog before I could get a picture of it!!

So I’m new to this area and my son wanted to get something to eat. He asked it would ok to go here as there weren’t non-meat options noted on the menu. I had leftovers at home so I had no objects. First of all it’s located in a cool historic district. The inside seating isn’t huge but there is seating. Staff was super nice and my son said his food was great. I had a sour (see picture of can). It was good. The vibe in this place is great. Then when I was leaving, one of the staff stopped me and asked “is this your hat?” I had dropped my favorite black fleece beanie. So happy to have not lost this. I’ll be back. I won’t object to the addition of a vegan burger to the menu (I know…sacrilegious). Thanks again for finding my hat!

This place is fantastic! What a lovely little jewel in downtown Fayetteville. Archway is immaculate, so friendly, and best of all EXCELLENT FOOD!! Smash burgers made just the way you want with all the fixins you want. Simply fill out the menu selection form & burgers or hot dogs are served with all the toppings, fixings and extras you want exactly as you want! Their onion rings are to die for by the way. It’s intimate with some additional outdoor seating where it’s fun to watch the parade of people in downtown. With a cleanliness inspection rating of 100, you know this place is serving quality done right. Forgot to take pics of the food but loved the cow painting!! Believe me, you won’t regret stopping by for lunch, dinner or take out. I’ve made my 3rd visit in two weeks & have added Archway Burgers as my new burger hangout!! I’ve been back more times than I count since I first wrote this review!
An excellent selection of unique beers. I’ve been to many places that serve food & Archway is the first that has had a 100% rating for Sanitation. You will not be disappointed, I promise. A+++++
